I totally understand that. I've deleted the app just not my actual profile. I will eventually get round to it but I need to save and retrieve my pictures from there that I have uploaded over recent years. I am just bored of it. I'm aware people only post what they want you to see. I find it irritates me more than anything a lot of the time. I find it sad people post tend to post things such as "happy birthday" or "merry christmas" only on facebook now and even the amount of texts/phone calls are dwindling down, never mind a card or such.

Last night I have activated both of my new credit cards which I used for money transfers to 0% and set up the online banking. Due to how Christmas has fell and the bank holidays I am yet to be able to make this repayment. My direct debit was due on the 1st but obviously will come out tomorrow and then it has to process that repayment. I guess thats what I like about credit cards, You can make as many overpayments as you want without having to wait for it to process.

Today is just a chill out day and getting myself organsised. The boy has gone to his dads. I am just chilling out a home.

  • That's an impressive list of goals for 2017. Many of them are my own goals too, it's really turning your whole life around, isn't it? I am slightly worried that I will be trying to change too much all at once but on the other hand I think I need a complete change or it will be too easy to slip right back into my old ways.

I am in two minds about facebook. I definitely spend too much time on it but part of it is needed for work. One of my goals this year is to live far more in the real world (vs online), so maybe I will allow myself to go on it for a limited amount of time and log off when it's up. If that doesn't work, maybe someone else can be in charge of the work facebook page.

Misty I've deleted all the apps off my phone as a start. If I decide to go on I have to log on through the browser which is usually too much faff so I tend to just leave it.

I really haven't done much today apart from play around with figures and align all my online accounts up with one another.

The sky is so bright and blue outside, It's tempting for me to clean my car (just the inside for today, needs de-cluttering and a really good hoover.). I will see how I feel after some lunch. What should be a quick job always takes me forever because I get really OCD about cleaning it. It would be one job off my goals for 2017. I really should keep it spotless for work however I find with everything I carry it gets messy so easily.

  • I'm deleting the apps of my phone right now, thanks for the push I needed.
  • Scott, I initially had an external hard drive especially for pictures. That's the one that got lost and I can't find it anywhere. It still upsets me that I can't find it anywhere..

Misty it's definitely cut down the time I spend on there. I used to enjoy seeing what people were up too (years ago). Now I just find it mentally draining. Every so often I also delete lots of people as I think if they were real friends they'd have my number and keep in touch. I keep work and home life separate. Especially on social media.

So.. This afternoon I gave the car interior a deep clean! It's all sparkly new right now. This makes me so happy. I just need to wash the outside.. However I may just take it to the local car wash that's £3 and does a fabulous job. I get frustrated washing the outside as it takes me so long. Plus after spending two hours doing the interior today, I am now freezing cold and can't warm up.

Yesterday I seemed to start with a cold and a bit of a sore throat. Some family members have been sharing their lurgies. I'm bound to catch it, my immune system is shot. I need to build it back up, I'm just unsure how.

I think I'm going to have a bath and chill out. Tea is leftover ham and chips, a simple meal as I'm not feeling 100%. I need to go through the fridge and see what needs using up. I'll probably do this tomorrow and batch cook some meals to freeze.

I'm going to set aside times in my diary to maintain the inside of my car interior (quick hoover, clean, declutter etc). Maybe once every two/three weeks. I've took all my work stuff out and shall go through all this and organise it. I don't want to carry too much in my car but at the same time I have too. I have to carry a pull along suitcase/bag with all my supplies in. I'm off to Google ways to minimise storage ha ha.

  • Afternoon,

This morning I ventured to the dressing clinic for my wound. Whilst there I nipped to my doctors to pick up new sick note. I need to photocopy this and hand it in.

I've also been doing some batch cooking.. We have lots of potatoes left over from Christmas holidays. I've found a recipe that suppose to make amazing roast potatoes so I've gave them ago but after parboiling, I've left them to cool and popped them in the freezer on a tray- will bag them up later. I've also made a batch of mashed potato and portioned them out ready to freeze- I used some left over double cream, milk and butter melted together to make it really creamy. I tried a bit and it was yummy.

Tonight's tea is beef stew which was prepared yesterday. I may blend it into a soup for me as I'm struggling to swallow food.

At the moment I'm laid up on the sofa have a rest. This cold/sore throat has gone straight to my chest. I'm very wheezy and crackly. I'm debating whether to make a doctor appointments and get it seen. I tend to get chest infections pretty badly. I'm not asthmatic or anything.

I've contacted my MH care team. My nurse is coming along with me to a meeting tomorrow so I'll catch up then. There's talks of having further bloods done to potentially check for diabetes. It runs in my family, my wound healing is poor (hence 3 ops in 2016). I don't think I am though.

Rest of the plans for today are:-

    - Clean kitchen back up.
    - Sort out and organise stuff into work bag and then store away (currently all supplies in two big bags).
    - Note down all events into diary and onto calendar that's hanging in kitchen. I'll have two visuals then.
    - Pick up my floordrobe and put sort out wash loads- Wash the boys p.e. Kit ready for tomorrow.
    - Continue to be NSD.

That's all for now. Have a good day!

  • Morning.

Yesterday didn't finish to well. I was absolutely floored with this cold/sore throat. I was absolutely wheezy and crackly.. my wheeze sounds worse than 40mph winds... Quick trip to the doctors and came home with antibiotics and steroids as well as a slip to get a chest xray. Hopefully I've caught it before it goes full throttle. I tend to have a pattern with chest infections. Anywhere between September- January is when one hits. The doctor who I saw yesterday thinks I may be a seasonal asthmatic so this year we will be prepared and I'll have some tests done around july/August and try a preventative inhaler for the next winter.

I also picked up my prescription for my quetiapine... my dose is slowly being upped. Took the first increased dose last night and it felt like I was drunk, woops. I don't feel too bad this morning and got a decent night sleep.

Yesterday continued to be a NSD, yay.

This morning so far I've pottered around and sorted out the boys school stuff and packed lunch. I never know if I'm putting enough in his pack lunch, sometimes it looks pretty bare but probably because I put things in tubs. Today he has one tuna sandwich thing, two small satsumas, half a pack of crisps and a cheese dip thing along with a bottle of water.

Also this morning I've an occupational health appointment to see where I'm up to. I'll meet my nurse and we'll catch up. Then I'll take myself for an xray, not sure where I want to go for this. I have a few places I could attend. Mays well go to the hospital xray whilst I'm near. I'll try blag free parking for 90 mins if I can. I usually get allocated an hour.

I'm hoping today is also a NSD. I may look at making a PAD to each debts soon. As previously stated, I've money transferred to two 0% cards for now. The money is sat waiting to overpay the loan. I'm just waiting for this month's payment to process.

I'll no doubt update later with any progress I've made and I'll catch up today on yesterday's to do list.

Hope everyone has a great morning.

I am so sorry that you still aren't recovered. How horrible for you.

That's a great list of goals for 2017. I love that you've split them into categories but don't be hard on yourself if it you can't stick to them all 100%. It's such a big list.
