Now officially two days (48 hours smoke free). I think the last time I tried to give up properly was 2013 and I probably lasted around two weeks before I gave in at a gathering. Not this time

So I've been to my appointment and we are looking at a return to work in next couple of weeks. I was hoping for this Monday coming but I think it's pushing it tight and plus its half term next week. I mays well spend the time with the boy. I'll be doing reduced hours on a phased return. I'll discuss all that tomorrow at last appointment.
Today the money transfer hit my bank from B@rclays so I've settled the Zopa loan account. I then balance transferred the maximum I could from the 0% interest, 0% fee card which should leave me with approx £1070 on the B@rclay card to tackle before November 2017. That should hopefully all be sorted by end of week.
At least I know where I now stand in regards to things money wise and work wise. I'll have another month of rubbish pay but hopefully March pay will be better. Who knows. I've managed either way.
I have my CBT group this afternoon. If I can get through that without caving in for a cig then I can get through pretty much anything. My mum's also cutting down alot against what she usually does. Good on her.
Scott I have the NHS smoke-free app downloaded. Very informative and helpful. I've plenty of mints/chewing gum to keep me going. I haven't found it too hard but I suspect the cravings will hit me at a later date maybe. Who knows.
Today will be a NSD. I've nothing to buy and plan on going nowhere lol apart from to my group and then to pick the boy up from school. Might play basketball in garden with him if weather stays nice. Or go for a walk somewhere.
I'm definitely hitting gym tonight. I didn't go last night because of burger king lol I felt too bloated. I need to keep focused
.
I'm awaiting confirmed payment from TCB of £80.81. I already have £4.62 payable but would rather wait for whole lot to become payable. That will be split between debt/savings/treat. It depends how I feel when it all becomes payable
.
Overall not much else to report. I've managed to have breakfast and lunch today. Now it's just dinner to go!! I'm not sure what I'll have for that just yet.Chandelier.

Oh goodness the irritability is setting in.. Small things such as hearing people eat or loud noises etc. I don't want a cig but I'm just restless and easily annoyed. Near enough 68 hours smoke free.
I attended cbt yesterday. It went as well as it could. A lot of the symptoms for hypomania/mania seem to be what I thought was the norm for me. So it's confusing.
Yesterday was a NSD. I think that brings my total to 3/12 NSD.
All balances are now up to date regarding debt aside from Zopa loan- the balance just needs to update to zero.
*New Balances*
- Virgin: £400.00.
- Barclays: £1077.00.
- Halifax: £3250.00.
- MBNA: £3330.00.
Total:- £8057.00.
All balances on 0% now for a good length of time. I'll be concentrating on Barclays balance as mentioned previously as offer runs out earliest and then will focus on Virgin and other balances.
Aside from that not much else to report. My final meeting regarding returning to work is today. I'll be glad for that to be over.
Over & outChandelier.

You sound organised and seem to be getting into a stable and healthy routine. The road may seem long but your efforts are making it shorter so go you!
Good luck for the meeting later today, hope it goes the way you wish.0 -
I'm glad things are turning around for you and that your work are supporting you with a phased return to work. My mum is working on returning to work after being off since August so I'm trying to support her with that.
Scott is right, my husband always said the first two weeks are the hardest but once he got beyond that, things seemed to get easier being smoke-free. I hope the next couple of weeks speed past for you so that you can be on your merry way.
Glad your money transfer is in progress too, that'll be nice to see a big 0 on your balance once it's been processed.
Hope the irritability leaves you soon!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

I've had an awful day. I don't even have the effort to type properly but it's just another dip in the road. I gave into one cigarette whilst in a state earlier. I'll just write it as a one off. No issues.Chandelier.

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good day. I hope you're feeling a bit better today and can be re-filled with the determination and confidence to give up. As you say, just a minor blip, these things happen.0
