Each country has a different age of consent - so perhaps that is the issue?0

The mother sounds incredibly naïve if she's letting this carry on because he seems like a 'nice guy'.0

He sounds like a nice guy kissing children!!
How many times he has done this? Sounds like he has the perfect job to do so.
Even at 18 I wasn't even considering anyone school age, and when older about 23, no younger than 18.0 -
I am truly staggered that anyone can read this and not think the police need to be involved. This person has regular access to children and is clearly acting in an inappropriate manner. Someone who has just turned 14 should be able to go on holiday without being groped by an "entertainer". There's a reason we have an age of consent, and there's a reason there are laws in place to protect children under that age.
Depends where it happened, this hasn't been answered yet. Depending on the country he may not have broken the law.0 -

Some sex offenders are just as skilled at grooming parents as they are young girls/boys, it makes their life much easier if they're good at it.0 -

Most countries with a lower age of consent still have associated laws against exploitation, grooming and abuses of power by adults against minors, certainly in Europe anyway.0 -

But until we know where this was it's purely moralistic points of view0 -
I'm not sure the police is the answer. If this was going on in the UK then I would involve them but it sounds like it was some guy they met in a foreign country.
Telling the police that your 14 year old daughter was kissing a 22 year old guy in a foreign country seems a bit of a waste of time. Sometimes you just need to be a decent parent and tell this guy to do one.0 -
