    Hiya

I had an inexplicable £3.15 in my coat pocket this morning, so deposited it into my piggy with a smug smile. Not sure what I've forgotten to pay...

Hope everybody had a good Christmas. Personally looking forward to seeing the end of 2016 and wishing for a better time of things in 2017. It seems to have been a difficult year for many and so much talent lost along the way too :(

Free hugs to those in need xxx

Hi! Could you add me to the list please? My target is £1500. Going to work hard this year to reduce spending money and pot it instead. :)

Welcome, potting can become very addictive but is a great way to save instead of spending :-) Sue will be along with a number for you soon.

Not much potting for me so far as still stuck in the house with a non weight bearing fractured ankle but instead I've been planning ways to save and pot more :-)

    Morning Peeps... :D

Thank you for everyone's kind words...The Funeral went well overall....So now it's looking towards the New Year and hoping that 2017 will be so much better than this Year...

I'm feeling particularly proud of myself this morning....I checked my Savings Sheet that I keep on my Netbook and realised that I have £40 saved already in my couple of Pots for this Challenge so I'm really pleased...that's gold coins and notes...and the Silver I'm not counting so I have a whole load of silver on top...so I'm feeling really pleased with myself...I'm saving slowly this Year so I (hopefully) don't have to take it all out again!! :)

*Big Hugs* to anyone that needs them....And a very Merry Christmas to everyone..I hope you ALL had a wonderful time xXx :)

EDIT: I just remembered about our Total....that's AWESOME!! Just think, that is all from just putting in spare change and other bits and pieces...That's AMAZING!! Let's make 2017 even better, I know we can do it :D

Well done on your great start to SPC10. After your sad times at the end of this year I hope that time will be a great healer for you. You will still of course continue to feel sad for your losses but that's to be expected. Some time after my Dad passed I felt guilty for not feeling sad one day - I guess it's all part of the healing process. My Mum says that as long as we continue to speak about him he's still with us, so continue to speak and think fondly of them and keep their memories alive.

A huge welcome to the new joiners - the more the merrier. I didn't join SPC9 until May so it really is never too late to join.

Stuck another £6 in the spot this morning.

I totalled up how much I spent last year on different things. In total it came to just over 12,000. I've worked out that in my 'other spends' I had spent around £2000 but have no idea what it was on! Probably clothes and coffee trips.

This month i'm hoping to not spend money shopping and also reduce our food bill. Hopefully i'll be able to reach my goal by the end of the year. :)
