Merry Christmas everyone. Off shortly to pick up Mum and head to Sister's for family lunch. Thoughts go out to those who for whatever reason Christmas isn't a time of joy. Delighted that our local Church has put on a meal today for 30 people who would otherwise be alone.

  • Decluttered bedrooms today found a shiny £1 coin all lonely. Quietly mentioned (well whispered) that I had found a pound, no replies so in the pot it went.

    Well I did ask :p

    £50k, great work everyone! :T

Hope everyone is having a restful and lovely Christmas so far. :) Found £1.50 in my coat pocket on the way home from Church on Christmas morning so in the pot it went! :)

Haven't replaced my tin yet from SPC9, so will rectify that next time I'm out shopping. ;)

My mum stayed with us for Christmas and we were talking about our Christmas tree. She was a bit  when I told her how much it costs for the real tree but I told her that I had saved up all year to pay for it with my sealed pot money, so she ended up being impressed. :xmastree:

Wishing you all a fun, happy and peaceful 2017! :heart2:

Just saw the total of over £50k, how amazing and fantastic. My new pot has been started, so onward and upward x
It will all be ok in the end - if it's not ok, then it's not the end!

£50k? I must find the original post and see how many savers it took to reach this total.
Feeling a bit delicate today (OK, hungover) so very gently put a pound coin in the pot.
