Wow,Sue!Didn't we do good in SPC9.Mind you,I am very pleased we all shared the load of counting it up: whenever I count up my pots, every year I count and re-count my lovely, lovely money.each count I get a different amount, then when I take it to the bank,I am told it is a different amount again,so who knows the muddles I'd have got into trying to count up £50,527.54 :rotfl::eek:.
Potting-wise,today I potted the cash I was paid: £25!
Think I am just about organised for kids' Christmas presents.Need to think about wrapping them, now!Tonight would have been an ideal opportunity, with the two youngest (10,and nearly 8) away on a sleepover. But I have just spend too long moseying around this wonderful site.So missed tonight, and am going out for coffee with friends tomorrow. But it will be done.I have promised myself that this will be the first Christmas in our living memory that I haven't sat up til at least 3 am wrapping presents.(think the year before last would have been our record: about 4.45am I went to bed on Christmas morning:eek::eek::eek::eek:SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Afternoon all SPCers! So, just 3 more sleeps to go before Christmas Day!!!!!:dance:A really busy one no doubt but so long as it was enjoyable. Now enjoy the lead up to Christmas whatever you do.
To all of you with colds, coughs etc, get well soon and have these {{{{hugs}}}} to help you through. :grinheart
Hi mrs-moneypenny! Haven't you done brilliantly lately, very well done.
Everyone's gone plastic fiver potty, but if it ups our savings....what more can be said!! :j
parksandrec wrote:Its a site that gives rewards for searches and also offers surveys. It doesn't earn much but its worth it for searching I would be doing anyway
Ah I see, the name makes sense now. Thanks a lot, parksandrec, good luck to you in getting as much possible with them.

I've just had the police knock on my door telling me my neighbours van got broken into and asking if I'd seen anything (I hadn't). I'm now debating whether to bank the dosh in the pot as I go along as I don't want it stolen if they start breaking into the houses around here.
Don't even give it a second thought, swimminginaseaofdebt, it's your hard-earned savings - bank it NOW!!
Far better to play safe, and be sure to lock away any valuables that may well be viewable - and taken a shine to!!!
YAY!!! A new badge from MSE eh 32b3! :T Good for you though I see you also earned another totally different and, some might say, unique one with FB too! :rotfl: Not quite sure what it represents but it has to be you to a T so I've heard.....and seen! :rotfl:
On a serious side good saving and enjoy your time off and a wonderful Christmas as well as a healthy and Happy New Year!!
Well said Kim_13! The only thing I would add is that rather than popping IOUs in pots keep a running total on your signature, you can't miss it then.
Hi Helen, it's good to hear you're holding up well. I realised it's one of each sets of grandparents that you've lost, but can't recall the context of what I was saying. Anyway, moving on, and VERY WELL DONE on potting your first note!!! :T
I know you're determined for the following year to be a good one, but we've grown to know your pretty well over the years and know that even if the year has a few rough spots....you'll cope because of the inner strength, just as all of us will. :grinheart
:xmastree: Just in case any Potters aren't able to make it on to the site much more:
A very Merry Christmas
and a
Happy, Healthy New Year,
Potters!! :xmastree:
Have a fantastic time everyone and thoroughly enjoy yourselves!! :xmassign:
Mmmm I think I get your point 166million, is Christmas getting to you at all?!
Wow Chutney now there's a great amount saved and not wasted or squandered!!
£1.05 potted isn't a meagre amount Louby, at this time of year anything saved has to be chuffed with!!
YAY Saver-upper that's a fantastic sum you've potted, brilliant work!!!! Oooh the times I've been up way too late wrapping our kiddies presents early Christmas morning! Once it was 4.45!!!!! I was shattered for the day itself then, not fair on anyone. From then on I've made sure everything is wrapped at least 2 days before! :xmassign:
Late night shopping with the grandchildren tonight so might be fortunate enough to get their last bits got....mine too. Might even be some spare change for the pot!!

Thank you for what you've said Sue....you're a star and always so encouraging even when sometimes you have things going on of your own...I just want you to know that I appreciate you xXx

I'm leaving to catch my Coach at about 9.30pm tonight....I hope the Journey will go quickly and that tomorrow will go well....Funeral's are never fun but I hope this will be a good way to say goodbye to my Grandma....
Anyway....I've Potted a fair bit of gold and still just the one Note....but maybe I "might" be able to Pot another Note this Weekend....we'll see what the rest of tomorrow and Saturday brings...
Again...Thank You Everyone for all your lovely words....I think there is a saying something like "In order to see rainbows you have to put up with the rain"....that feels like a good quote right now.... xXx
