A reminder of the Grand Total for those who've yet to see it. :j

    Good Morning all
Potters! Here's hoping you all had a lovely weekend (yes, I'm late). A really busy one no doubt but so long as it was enjoyable. Now enjoy the lead up to Christmas whatever you do. :D To all of you with colds, coughs etc, get well soon and have these {{{{hugs}}}} to help you through. :grinheart

that quote didnt work! replying to jakes-mum!

Not to worry about getting the quote just right, inneedofmoney, you just need to make sure that the start of the quote has the

Many thanks for the help that you've given to Jakes-mum and for that you've earned yourself a gold star! :staradmin Well done on the savings front.

Didn't do bad did we 32b3! :j Though in fairness I think we all led each other to build up such terrific Grand Total, so VERY WELL DONE everyone!! :T

Excellent total for 2016! Thanks to my child begging me to give him so money to put in. I had none today so his father stepped up. I have told him I don't refund ha ha!

I see you dealt with your "child begging" in a great way, Hicksy, though has your hubby stopped to think about what pattern he might have set for the future!! :rotfl:

Don't concern yourself about your pig's belly not being full in these early days, Miss D M, and remember that Christmas calls for the majority of our money right now. Start to increase it more if possible after the season is over. :D

You can be sure that every penny of your savings as well as everyone else's contributed to that Grand Total, Dizzy Imp, so don't get selling yourself short! :naughty: Well done with the latest egg money too, the chicken as well I guess!! ;)

Little and often is the way most of us save, Louby, so you're doing things right. Look forward to it building faster after Christmas is over!

Well done muppets and I hope you enjoyed your time off.

YAY!! What a fab Total for sure, jakes-mum, we may still get more as some leave it until after Christmas!!!! :D

To Edinburgh for a DAY, MrsShazbat??! Ah well it was obviously well worth it. Actually I expect the journey itself was lovely. Well done with the £2 coins!

Excellent saving Onmyway2!!! You did yourself proud! :j

Not sure if I've asked already or not but can I include my payouts from swagbucks and qmee in my total?

As 32b3 rightly says parksandrec... Yes, of course you can include such payments! Whatever does qmee stand for?? Good saving too!

Managed to pot some pounds over the weekend and DH gave me a load of 2p and 5p coins he was storing as well. My tin feels quite heavy already.

Why give him chance to store them, siju?! It's you who should be having that job! ;) Not long to wait now!! :xmassmile :j

You've done very well Florence! With what you said about your pot not being as heavy as you have thought, I take it it's in a safe place?! A wonderful amount saved especially at this time of year! :D

Brilliant work with the £5er 12 month challenge!! I think those notes are going to be saving a small fortune for many of you! :D

FIVE MORE SLEEPS to go!!!!!!!! :j

Have a super Tuesday, SPCers. Keep safe, healthy and showing your pots plenty of love! :D

    Evening everyone,

Well I amalgamated my pots (so bronze, silvers, golds and notes are all together now) as the pots were looking too bare individually lol.

Consequently, I have a full pot now and will move onto my second one tomorrow.

I've just had the police knock on my door telling me my neighbours van got broken into and asking if I'd seen anything (I hadn't). I'm now debating whether to bank the dosh in the pot as I go along as I don't want it stolen if they start breaking into the houses around here.

I definitely would. I bank mine whenever I have a full bag of change anyway - better earning a little interest than sitting in the pot for the rest of the year. You can put an IOU into the pot if it makes counting up at the end easier.
  • Thank you everyone for your amazing and kind words....You're all so wonderful....And I really appreciate it xXx :)

Sue....Thank you for your lovely words....It was my other Grandma up North on my Dad's side....but I agree, sometimes when someone loses their other half I've heard they can go downhill quickly, hopefully that won't happen in this case...I'm keeping my fingers crossed....I'm not sure I could take much more this Year....

So I am absolutely determined that next Year will be MUCH MUCH MUCH better!! :)

So I've finally potted my very first Note this Year....I know I can do it this Year...and I WILL do it....And I've potted a few gold coins and also plenty of silver so I think I'm doing okay...which is a good end to this Year...

*Hugs* to anyone that needs them.... xXx :)
