  • The going is a bit slow at the moment with the £2 coins. I'm a bit like the Queen and don't often use/carry cash so they're hard to come by sometimes :rotfl: I had to spend one last weekend as well!!

Thank you very much indeed, 32b3, I'm trying hard but at this time of year it's just that little bit harder, but as you know we all do our best....you included with yours...of course! :D

Never mind ETO, a £5er pre Christmas is excellent so be very happy, proud too!! :grinheart

I see you've got all your savings organised, owlet, started with real enthusiasm too which is fantastic!!! :j

Potted £2.20 today. It was lonely in my purse

Then you did well to give them companions in the shape of others of their own ilk, Louby. BTW.....well done! ;)

Doesn't it warm the heart to be able to help other less fortunate youngsters than our own with gigts on the Giving Tree, jakes-mum! :happyhear

All in good time with the all the relevant bookings you've yet to make, it'll happen but for now you've chance to excitedly review your options!! :j Yes, every little bit of change counts...every sale of outgrown clothing too, more cash in the pot!!

Such good saving, Pinkwhisk, doesn't it make you feel proud when the weight of your pot confirms what a cracking job you're doing! :dance:See you soon.

Have you had a change in the way you save now then, MrsShazbat? I thought you were one of our queens of cash! ;) Yes, quite a lot like our Lizzie I guess! :rotfl:

Have a brilliant weekend, Potters. Keep safe, healthy and let those pots feel the love! :grinheart

Thank you for my star Sue-UU (not sure it's still justified as I know nothing about Macs and wasn't very helpful in the end). Hopefully someone will be able to help.

  • Not really Sue-UU. I only count the £2s I save for this challenge as our giant Coke bottle is contributed to by both of us and eventually it's impossible to count (it's also impossible to fill as the weight makes it spread out like an elephant's foot and eventually crack - the last one had so much tape holding it together till I took pity on it! Sometimes I get loads of £2s and then others it's a bit slow. I usually change them out of our lottery syndicate money and stuff and get them that way as well. Just a bit slow off the mark this year!

Anyway after all that, I added another one to the tin tonight.

    Evening everyone

    Hugs atti

Trust you all had a lovely week and enjoyed the warmer weather :D

I have potted my weekly £10 and have also added the £41 odds to my signature that I made over target on the 'Make £10 a day' thread last month :j

We are out for lunch t/m with our neighbours. We go for C lunch every year to somewhere within about 30 mins walk and this year there are 23 of us going - so it'll be a great opportunity to catch up with all the news. I've been to the restaurant before and it does quite good food, plenty of choice and at a reasonable price :D

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend
