p.s. does anyone know how to change the buttons on a laptop? Like my laptop is American so where there would normally be a pound sign its a dollar sign instead and it would be very handy if I could change it to a pound!

Depends what operating system you have parksandrec. If you have Windows 7 or Vista then:-

Click Start button, type intl.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
On the Keyboards and Language tab, click Change keyboards.
    Click Add.
Expand the language that you want - English (United Kingdom)
Expand Keyboard list, click to select the English (United Kingdom) check box, and then click OK.
In the options, click View Layout to compare the layout with the actual keyboard.
In the Default input language list, click English (United Kingdom)
Expand Keyboard list, click to select the English (United Kingdom) then click OK twice.
In the Regional and Language Options dialog box, click OK.

Hope this helps. Other versions may be different.

Had a quiet couple of days but have £1.60 for my pot today. :)

Hi SPCers! I hope you've all had a good day or as good as possible, yesterday also. To all those with colds, coughs etc, I sincerely hope you get well soon. For now use these {{{{hugs}}}} several times per day to help you through. :grinheart

Well it might've taking you a little while, squanderscouse, but at least you got there in the end and £5 pounds in your pot is pretty darned good, very well done! :T
When I bank them all I will say " well there's this lady Sue-UU and she organises and runs this great challenge"... :rotfl:
    x

Oh you're just too kind, 12 month challenge! :happyloveWho knows though, all the others may already be saying the same thing  in which case it's no wonder I get such filthy looks from bankers, or maybe it's down to the fact that I call them by their pseudonym!!!!! :rotfl:

Well saved 32b3....your pot can always reckon on a darn good feed from you each day! :A

Such a sweet act from your customer, Saver-upper, though as you say, to have even mentioned the £2 coins just might lead you to one he*l of a count up each week!!! Never mind, if it happens at least you'll know it was done with all the best intentions. :kisses3:

Well potted parksandrec! I almost had the same keyboard problem as had to have mine replaced and all that was available was a US one, but at the last minute there was a UK one for sale on E*ay. First thing to do is go to the Techies board on MSE, they're a terrific bunch of folk who will help. Good luck to you!

WOW siju, that's fantastic!!! I'd typed the above on my post, but wasn't reckoning on you being a far more IT lady! :TA gold star is yours for all your brilliant help, thank you so much siju! :staradmin

So as you're a Mac user parksandrec, give the Techies on MSE a try.

A lovely £15 potted in the chicken as it's notes, not the normal twenty but at this time of year it's still pretty good!

Keep right on potting folks, but......only as much as you're able so that you don't overdo it and get tempted in to robbing the pot!! :naughty: Use your holding pots (see the first post) so you stay safe! :D

I hopeWednesday's a good'n for you, Potters. Feed those pots as well as possible but not too much! :D

Excellent potting again from you Sue. Keep it up :D. You too saver-upper. That's an amazing amount to pot at this time of the year x. We are all doing really well considering all the other expenses around Christmas time.

Afternoon everyone. £5 potted in my £s tin & £3 odd in my odd sods tin. I also have £65 now of new £5 notes - not in the tin because they take up too much room. They are safe in an envelope. I like the new notes so I'm trying not to spend them lol
