Changed up all my 1ps and 2ps that have been weighing down my bag for the last month into a shiny £1 coin :D (and fed said nasty coppers into the Mr T self service till much to DH's horror) plus I had 30p in my purse so that went in too :D

Im full of cold so i'm going back to some rubbishy christmas films and to feel sorry for myself :D

Evening SPCers! Here's hoping you're all enjoying a lovely (thoughwet again :() Tuesday. I hope the day has been a good one for all. :D To all those with colds, coughs etc, get well soon and have these {{{{hugs}}}} to help you through. :grinheart

So everyone's a winner then, jakes-mum, far better to get a small amount than nowt. I sincerely hope your DS and DD haven't passed any lurgy your way as I do understand what you mean about your immune system, DD's just getting over a rotten one given her by....you got it, the kiddies! Bless em. I hope you're feeling a bit better today but either way honey and lemon for that throat!!

Don't fret Curly, we do dribs and drabs and anything else money wise, just pot em all - including that £1 shopkill!!! :j

Good work with the £5er, Antomac, and thank goodness the cufflinks weren't easily found.....but the 21p was!;) I hope the works do turned out to be a great time for all!

When so many of us are finding it a bit of a job to keep the more regular amounts, Chutney, you're pulling out all the stops to up yours, very well done!!

Excellent saving with the £6, Florence, but very wise in hanging onto the £10 in your holding pot just in case......but look out pot as it still might be coming your way!! :j

Wow! I wander off for a week and look at all the potting that's been done. You are all amazing and we aren't even half way through the first month. I'm finding this so addictive that the NSDs, whilst great for helping curtail the unnecessary spending have impacted the buzz I get from gathering the coins.
Still I have managed to pot something today - 83p
Good news is I checked the level of the coins (my short, fat pig is kinda transparent) and I'm up to the top of the legs.

    Miss DM

I know you've been away for a week, Miss D M, but you've lost track with the amount of time we've been saving for; we began on Nov 4th November; you've become THAT ADDICTED that you can't distinguish one week from another :rotfl: - brilliant!! :j

I found that Ive been paying for everything on card so haven't been getting many coins and end up spending more than I realised so have decided trying to withdraw money for the week and paying like that, then potting the spare change each day so have been potting a lot more coins the last few days.

You've made a marvellous change, inneedofmoney! :T Time now to take control of your spending......your saving too!!! :D

You really are determined to do your very best, 12 month challenge, fantastic savings!!

Same applies to you too, indigowarrior, you've become savings mad - amazing isn't it!! :T

    Very well done Louby! :D

    ......you also siju!

Continuing on eh 32b3? Thought so. ;) Sad about being back to work :( but.....'twont be long for the big one!!!! :j

    Woohay parksandrec, another great sum!!

Every little helps indeed Florence! No matter how small an amount, totted up with other small amounts through the year it adds up to quite a sum!!

Stop trying to encourage her, Frogletina!! Behave yourself!! :naughty:

About time you talked about potting jakes-mum, I mean there's only so much you can say about holidays! I hope you're soon feeling a whole lot better with that cold. You're right about rubbishy films!!!

£10 in the pot after shopping today and another 2p roadkill! :j DD & I have both had our hair trimmed so at least that's out of the way for now. We're both as bad as each other for hating our hair done! :happylove:happylove

Have a lovely evening and great Wednesday, Potters. Keep safe, healthy and filling those pots! :D

    Sue xx

65p added. If there is anything in the holding pot next monday (I get paid on the 20th) then it is all going in as I haven't even been counting it when working out how much (or should I say Little) money I have left.
