You absolutely can join Moneybutterfly - You can even join SPC10 if you like but there are only 10 days of it left! Please read the very first post which sets out the 'rules', which aren't too strict.
Sue will allocate you a pot number when she's able - she's not 100% at the moment so might not be on quite as often as usual for the next few days, but she will be along. She's a lovely lady and offers great encouragement to everyone.
It's a great challenge and has helped lots of people save a very welcome amount.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 50 -

I hope it's sorted soon
I'm still potting away, I don't think I've got as much as last year, but I'm probably not far off it - any amount is a bonus I thinkanyway I'm popping £7.02 into my pot today.

Another 2 £2s into the pot tonight.
I think going forward I'm going to pot the contents of my purse after shrapnel (as that goes into the big bottle with hubby's) or a fiver if I've got a note instead of change as well as the £2s as they've been very few and far between this year. Mind you, that's also because like the Queen I don't spend cash - blame that on using Quidco which requires me to use my cards, although that's why I count my Quidco total in the SPC. I'll probably be able to count another eB*y sale into the total as wellSPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Hi Everyone
I'm on the Night Shift again this Week....because of my Trip to Disneyland Paris next Week I'm doing extra this Week so it's going to be an exhausting Week but hopefully a good one before I take my Trip away...(*whispers* I can't wait to see the Castle and say hello to Mickey again!!)
Sue...thank you for your best wishes for my health and for your Congratulations for my Pot Total, I'm really happy with that...again, it's not been the best of years financially but I'm pleased with what I have achieved....I'm so sorry to hear that you're suffering...I have suffered with my Teeth for years and am having a small Operation myself on 9th November...in the meantime before you have your Teeth out that you need to have out, have you tried Oil of Cloves? If you put some onto a cotton bud or a tissue and then hold it directly onto the Tooth (if you can bear it) and hold it there for 20 seconds or so and then leave it to do it's job - It will probably sting but it will also numb it, it will also leave you with a horrible taste in your mouth but it really does work...Hope that helps and don't worry about us at all - Just take care of yourself, you are more important hun... *Big Hugs*... xXx
I've been Potting the odd bit of Gold and Silver over the last couple of days....so let's see what I can manage before next Tuesday when I go away...
*Big Hugs* to anyone that needs them....I'm on the Night Shift again tomorrow night so I'll probably chat to you all then... xXx0 -
Can't believe how clos is is to opening time! So exciting, hope everyone is well. X
Hope toothache eases sue. XSPC~12 ot 124

no change for me yesterday as I haven't used any cash
I do need to go to £land at some point though so hopefully some change from there.
Ahh Sue, toothache is a horrible pain! hopefully you will be on the mend soon but hugs to you to make you feel better.
DreamerHelen, i'm so very jealous! I want to go back to see Mickey!I have to admit I did look a few weeks ago to see what the cost would be to go after christmas but it was coming in at the same price as a week in spain for the 4 of us
I am feeling very rough at the minute, am trying to get DD's scarf done for her Harry Potter halloween outfit and I pushed myself too far and am now paying for it, so my rushing has more than likely made the whole job a lot longer than if I had paced myself as I now have to leave it alone until I can pick it up without feeling sick

No, it’s not been the best of years 32b3, but no doubt we’ll get through it. It’s still much better than so many and that’s a fact! Hasn’t this year flown by, and now so close to knowing the amounts we all have!!!!!
Thanks so much Ant, but in truth it’s the best way to look at it. You’re right in that toothache can be wicked! BTW, that was a first class welcome to Moneybutterfly35, thank you, and here’s your well-earned gold star! :staradmin
Many thanks siju... me too! You’re words are so very true as any money is soooo much better than none! :j Saving is great for us all!!!!
YAY Chutney! Still keeping it up as best you’re able!
Whatever’s best for you to save, MrsShazbat, go for it! Likening yourself to the Queen indeed - actually why not!!!!32b3in2013 wrote: »Evening

YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j7 & 3/4 DAYS TO GO - INCLUDING TODAY!!
You jammy devil with that 5p roadkill Vicky! Hubby and I were in Taunton taking friends for a hospital visit and after almost scouring all the pavements (well I was, not sure about him) we didn’t see a bloomin thing, glad you did though, and well done with the other £2!!
Bless you for the Oil of Cloves way of relieving toothache, Helen; yes I did try that as othwise I can only take Paracetamol as Codeine make me ill. I must admit it’s an old way of toothache relief but it does work temporarily!
I know the night shift takes it out of you, but the fact that it’s before your holiday at least makes it more bearable. :j
Keep going with your potting!
Thanks so much mrs-moneypenny, I really appreciate your thoughts.
Yes, DDay is approaching at an alarming rate and will soon be upon us!!!!
Thanks a lot jakes-mum, if the Dentist is right then hopefully it won’t be long until relief is on it’s way; I really do hope so!
I’m so sorry to hear you’re having such a rough time, but guess you’re right in that you do too much and then pay the price. Take great care and I hope you’re soon feeling very much better! :grinheart
I think I too would opt for the week in Spain for a holiday - well I would but DH hates flying - he’s never tried it but hates it!!!!!! :mad:Men!
Have a lovely evening and great Thursday folks. :j Don't forget your to keep your pots nourished!!!
Sue xx
