Oh Sue I still remember the first time I got DH on a plane, i've been flying since I was knee high to a grasshopper (as my mum always said), he was gripping those arm rests like he was about to die! We thunder up the runway, take off and he went 'is that it? my mates car goes faster than this!' :rotfl: he now loves flying more than I do :rotfl:
I'm very much looking forward to my bed, I am now realising I pushed it waaaay further than normal. I NEVER give in to it but today I am really really just wanting to curl up in my bed.
Had to post a parcel today, sent DH down to do it and he came back with a £2 coin, £1 coin and a little bit of shiny changeSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Evening
90p potted today.
I love flying too Jakes-mum. I’m severely travel sick on most transport types, but not planes.
You comment about your husband hating flying having not tried it made me laugh Sue_UU. That’s how I feel about baked beans. I’ve never tasted them, but I hate them :rotfl:

Evening All
Well I'm feeling it tonight....It's only two and a half hours into my seven hour Shift and I am soooooooooo longing for my bed!! The only thing keeping me going is I know full well what I'm going to use some of this money for and there will be some good things on the horizon for the rest of this Year and for next Year too....(well I hope so anyway!)...
Sue....Can you not take Tramadol? I can't take Codeine either or anything like Diclofenic (an NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) but I CAN take Tramadol and that helps a lot....It helps the pain to calm down enough to sleep if I take it before bedtime when I'm in pain....maybe ask the Doctor if they can prescribe that for you? Hopefully the Dentist will come through and cause the pain to stop! I am thinking about you hun and hoping it settles down for you xXx
Jakes-Mum....I'm sorry that you're suffering too....Sometimes I guess we do too much and then we definitely pay the Price...I know that when I push myself too hard then my body causes me to get ill (either a Virus or Cold or something) and that forces me to rest....That's probably what happened last week with my Chest Infection....Don't worry, Mickey will be there next time you say hello...
I honestly can't remember if I Potted anything today...if not then I will make sure the Pot is fed in the morning.....
*Hugs* to everyone as I am in a huggy sort of mood
Keep going everyone...We are soooooo nearly there!! xXx0 -
Hope your night shift didn't drag too much dreamerhelen, I shall return to Mickey at some point, I just don't think it will be next year
I have an autoimmune disease so I know how much i'm allowed to do but sometimes I decide i know better than my body does and then we get into arguements which my body always winsI'm a very stubborn individual so never learn :rotfl:
A whopping £34.90 in the tins todaythe gold tin now only has 7mm of room  I'm having to give it a good old shake every time i put a coin in make them go through the slot!

Hi Folks, just popping in to say that although I haven't been posting for a very long time, I am still potting bits and pieces and will declare on time. It has been a very rough year (financially as well as healthwise and in family matters) so I don't expect I will have much cash to shout about. I am still here though
So sorry to hear that you have had a rough year too Sue-UU It's been even worse than mine healthwise it seems. Hope your awful toothache can be sorted soon. Sending gentle {{{hugs}}} your way.
Keep potting everyone, you are all amazing! xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Don’t forget to pop your No on your signature please, it’s such a huge help to me, thank you.
Have a lovely evening SPCers, and I hope you've all had a lovely week. Keep safe and warm over the weekend, as the cold is starting to march down to us from the arctic, I think. To all those members feeling rough or low in any way, get well soon and here are some SPC {{{Hugs}}} from us all. :heartsmil
I’m sure my DH would be the same jakes-mum, it’s only what he “thinks” it would be like as he can’t stand heights, but neither can I! I was scared stiff for a few days before and terrified as we hurtled along the runway but my DD was a gem with me and once in the air it was fantastic and I loved every moment! :j
Well done with even more potting treasures via DH of course!5 FULL DAYS OF POTTING TO GO!!
You and baked beans are exactly like my eldest Granddaughter, 32b3, she detests them but, like you, has never tried them! I suppose it must be the look of food that puts some folk off. I can so sympathise with you about travel sickness, I’ve suffered terribly as a youngster no matter what means of transport; still do now, especially in the back of a car, or in a bus or coach, really horrible and completely ruins the reason you’re travelling for! It’s lovely to go in a plane and not have that! :dance:DreamerHelen wrote: »Sue....Can you not take Tramadol? I’ve no idea Helen! Nobody’s even suggested it so probably not due to the AEDs (anti epilepsy drugs), I can’t take NSAIDs either because of stomach problems, but I’ll definitely ask our Dr next time I see him. Thanks a lot Helen! :kisses3:
Re the Dentist, hopefully I’ll be having my gum shields fitted next Friday so then I’ll be going to bed as though I’m ready to fight anyone!!!!! Can’t wait.
I bet your excitement about Paris is really building up, fantastic! Look forward to it all Helen!!!! :j
Not long to wait now for Declaration Day, Dragon Lily!!! :dance:You’re still potting too which has to be good, keep it up and count the sleeps!!!!
Is that so Emily! Brilliant news and I so look forward to hearing how much you have!!! :j You’ve done so well over the last few years since you had that “injection” so to speak, never stop... save... saving!!!!!!
Hello little_sweetie, so lovely to see you!!!!!! :hello: So sorry to hear you’ve also had a rotten year, I truly hope you’re soon over it all and feeling a lot better as things like that soon pull you down. I’ve been thinking of you both so much lately but not had the time to have a chat, one of these days I’ll get there. For now take great care of yourself, G too!
My year has been rough with bereavements as well as health but we’ve had some up times as well especially with the birth of our first Great-grandchild a month ago, a darling little boy named Oliver!!!! Thanks very much for the hugs, here are some for you {{{{hugs}}}}.
Have a really great WEEKEND folks. :j Don't forget - keep your pots fed!!!
Sue xx
