Thanks Sue! We saw a tiny bit of the ladies' marathon from the Sky Garden, hard to tell if they were the leaders or the stragglers but never mind. We did the tour of Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. Saw way more of Buck House than I expected; I thought they'd just send us round the lesser-used/known rooms but no - we got to pass through the Grand Entrance, past the State Coach which is on display, where all the dignitaries and guests go. The Ballroom was my favourite; it's where they hold the investitures (although that didn't register until my mum showed me the photo in her guidebook - duh, I walked the same carpet as Mr Cumberbatch!) and it has plush seating around the outside in a raised/bleacher style!! Plus a whacking great organ at one end! Gorgeous. The throne room is special as well. We also did the Garden Highlights tour, hard to believe you're in 39 acres in the centre of London with traffic on 3 sides. The Houses of Parliament was great value - we had an excellent guide, knowledgeable and funny with it, and a good 2-hour walk around from one end to the other.

I came back with one £2 coin although I acquired another couple today.

Having written this ^^ on Wednesday, today I potted a total of 5 £2s so clearly had a bit of a rush on them :rotfl:

Hi Sealed Potters! I hope you're all glad to be finished work and are relaxing into a smashing weekend. Of course that won't apply to all, but whenever you have your time off - enjoy it thoroughly!
To all those members feeling poorly or who are low in spirits in any way, I do hope you all get well very very soon. Very best wishes and {{{{hugs}}}} to you all. :grinheart

I don't think anybody could be more ready for their holiday then you rightly are, jakes-mum, I'm so pleased you thought about the gluten-free things you'll need which I would have completely forgotten - though not being on that sort of a diet myself I wouldn't need to stop and think about it anyway, but obviously for you it would be one of those very important items! Have an absolutely super holiday whenever you go!!!!! :j
Re DS's blanket: Keep listening out for ideas that will suit him so he'll be thrilled to bits on the big day; he might even give some hints or get ideas when you're on your holiday!!

    Evening

Glad you had a good holiday Sue. Not only is my Christmas shopping half done I have also bought the boxes for the Christmas Eve boxes and started on the PJs for them. 10 to do this year but that includes adults. If I only did the kids I would only need 5.

No change to pot today :(

    32b3

NO MONEY SAVED 32b3???!!! That's almost unheard of for you, though I expect that'll change before I finish this post.
When you say PJs I'm taking it you mean pyjamas as C presents, if not whatever does it mean?!
Ahh just seen your latest post... that's more like it, in which case very well potted! :D

Whatever you're able to make to sell, DancingUnicorn, it's a great idea and will certainly help you gain honey, so go for it!!!

Hello there gettingbetter! :hello: Don't worry about the need for creeping in, you're had plenty on your plate to keep you occupied and many congratulations to you and your DH!!! Here's wishing you a very happy life together!!!!!! Time now to make new friends whilst keeping in touch with your old ones!

Excellent work moneymanager, you really are keeping up the good work!!! :j

I'm glad you at least saw some of the action, MrsShazbat! It sounds as though you had a great time at Liz's place too - she'll be well happy if she reads this - oh yes, she's an SPC member with a pseudonym too you know! :money: Great news with all those £2s!!!!

Ooops! Sorry Cazzie, it wasn't until Bubbs post above that I realised you've lost another 1 & 1/2 lbs, very well done!!! :T

Many thanks Bubbs! What's this then another potter with nowt potted this time round?! Oh well, I can't talk anyway! :(

Not to worry about the amount potted by Jack, Hicksy, and yes, whatever it was will definitely add up! ;)

Well done with supporting Dragon Lily! :D Visit us as often as you're able, but I do understand that for some folk it isn't always easy.

Hello Emily, great to see you!!!! :j Fantastic potting :T and without being able to see right now, don't forget to pop the total banked onto your siggy! It's always so good to see you, so pop in whenever you're able. :D

Enjoy a really smashing WEEKEND, folks. :j Fill those pots when possible!!! :D

I did indeed mean pyjamas Sue, Christmas Eve boxes have pyjamas, fluffy socks, mobile phone chargers, sweets, make-up bags (for the girls :D ) etc etc. Since that post I have got the make up bags and phone chargers too :money:

    Have a great week everyone.
