The princely sum of £10.90 has gone into the shiny new Trolls tin, I have this mad idea of not potting any coppers this year, only silver, gold and notes . . . I do so hate counting those grubby things! Or maybe having a 'copper holding pot' that I chuck all my coppers in and change up at the bank for silver every so often . . :think: I shall muse

Nothing in the pot so far, I've only shopped once so far this month and it was on my card, so still have to draw out my monthly money. I'm going to have a look round to see if I can find anything in the house you never know I may come across something!!!

I went to Devon a few weeks ago Saver-upper and everything was 90p in both of the Poundland stores in the high street there too.

It's freezing here today, I'm on a visit for work tomorrow, so a slightly different commute. I hate standing on station platforms

£3.31 potted today. I have noticed that the slot on the pot is slightly too narrow for £1 coins to just slide through. That's a bit annoying.

Splashed out and bought myself a new tin today! The tin I've already got will be for £2 coins only. Decided to save in a 'holding jar' first and then transfer every week.
So pleased to be part of the group!

I'm back in again for another year of saving. I'm going to up my target to £550 to go towards Christmas and numerous birthday prezzies.

I have one ex husband and 3 children to buy for, and two of them are married so there is their husbands as well. I also have five grandchildren and I have problems knowing what to get them. Plus I have 10 friends that I give small gifts to.
