We have a coin collector at work Westie. He started collecting following a visit to the royal mint during his "40 new things" in his 40th year. Every tim any of us back from lunch he wants to check any coins we have.

I loved the visit to the royal Mint, I have spent most of my day today sifting through all the £1 that have been paid in/Swopped to see if there is any rare ones....

Coins sell for much more than face value on eBay Westie. Apparently there are Facebook swapping groups too. my colleague only needs the £1 coins with the three balls on the bottom now. He has finished his £2 and 50p collections,

I would like to join please.
I would like my target to be £1,000 I don't have a target date as this would be going into my new home fund which I will be starting once I move in to my first rented house with my boyfriend. We eventually want to buy a house if everything runs smoothly of course and I'm sure it will so I thought I may as well start saving straight away.

Hello I would like to start a new pot - I had one last year which got stolen by a "friend" As a result I was put off potting for a while however I keep all £2s I get (except any that end up spent when strapped for cash) and my purse won't close anymore because I have too many

I'll buy a new pot within the next couple of days so that I can join this challenge properly but in the meantime I'd like to start with a goal of £250
