  • I've managed to pot 6 shiny $2 coins this week :)
We have caught the neighbour on camera trying to break into our fuse box and my car, when he couldn't manage either he placed nails in wood behind my tyres. We got the police involved and are now trying to see how we can get out of our lease. I don't want to go out after dark and I'm now paranoid about what he might do to the puppies and cat while we aren't home. It just means more stress and moving, which with full time placement means my uni study is suffering :(.
I'm not sure if he has been putting things out that the puppy notices Sue-UU, but he has gotten a LOT worse since we moved here. That being said we joined a dog obedience class and he is doing so much better than I had hoped.
    Number 495 :)

    So.....

Yesterday I drove to Wales to get my hands on this, I booked a tour of the factory and pressed the button to be one of the first ones to get my hands on a 2017 dated coin, it will be staying in the packaging to add to my collection and I will get one on Tuesday from work when they are launched to complete my £1 coin album collection.

I'm still here, although the low number of £2s is slowing me down. Just checked my Quidco which I include in this, and thanks to my various London trips this year I'm already up to £46.38! Sadly the trainline.com aren't currently working with Quidco so my train tickets aren't getting me any cashback at present. It looks like they're working with other cashback sites instead.

Thanks very much 32b3, and I hope you're right that those missing will soon pop their heads around the door. I understand we all have lives to live with many members working as well as having children, but a short post once a week or so makes SPC feel so much more worth doing. :) We'll see.
    Great potting btw!! :D

Very well done with the bingo win, Treasurequeen!! :j

Hello mrs-moneypenny! WOW! You've done incredibly well with your over time!! :jBrilliant saving for your kitchen fund as well as a nice £20 feed for the pot!!! Very well done indeed!

Nice work Florence, it's always good to hear pots getting regular meals!! ;)

Hooray in getting that evil neighbour caught on camera, TheCatsandDogsMother!!!! :T Hopefully now the police are onto them it'll stop, I truly do hope so. Surely he or she can't be quite right to do such things! Good news of the puppy and dog training class, let's just hope you can get something sorted to ensure the cats and dogs safety! Try to focus as well as is possible on your studies, and very many best wishes, {{{hugs}}} too.

Very well done with your new £1 coin addition to your collection, Westie!

A shame about your Quidco not working with the train company, MrsShazbat, but no doubt you'll get it sorted somehow. Keep up those £2s!

Have a lovely week, SPCers. Pot what you're able to!!! :D

    Sue xx

I don't think I like the new £1 con, it looks too much like a a Euro coin.

Some very strange people out there TheCatsandDogsMother. Hope things are resolved for you soon.

DH, the dog and I had a fantastic weekend in the city of St Davids - the weather was fantastic, the walks were spectacular and it was only an hour from our home. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday and mother's day. We were very careful not to walk too far - doggy is 11 later this year and struggles with his arthritis if we do too much and he was fine all weekend. Then this morning, I was halfway around our usual walk and he stumbled. It was a very slow limp back home - so a couple of days resting now I'm thinking :(

Nothing to put into my pot yet - actually don't have any cash at all so have to call at the cashpoint later, however, I do need to pick up a few bits and pieces on my way home, so I'm sure I'll have something to pot later.

Have a good week everyone :)

Wow Westie - what a collection! VERY impressive.

A little more potting, mainly of silver coins, including 60p snaffled from DH's pockets. He should be more vigilant. ;)
