Nationwide Flex Regular Saver 13th payment

My Regular Saver matured 8 Dec, complete with interest, transferred the money out, and then tried to open a new one, but kept getting an error message "technical problems ".
I sent a secure message to them but got no reply. Tying again the next day same problem, so I sent another secure message this time complaining that I had not received a reply to my first message.
Surprisingly I didn't get any response to that either. However I did manage after about a week to open a new regular saver.
I then sent another secure message lambasting their lack of customer care, especially as they had not given me the courtesy of a reply.
Result got a letter in the post offering me £75 for my inconvience, well worth the hassle.0 -
Anyone actually got the promised "Compensation", I'm still trying to get the £30, their messaging appears to be all over the place, saying they've replied when they haven't, not good enough, yes I know its been Xmas/Ny hols etc, but its now the 7th! come on NW get your act together.0

No, but I've just received my second letter confirming my complaint and apologising for the delay in their response stating that they should respond by the end of the month, which will be pushing the eight weeks.
If they just bunged me £25 I'd be happy, and probably cheaper than the admin cost they are currently incurring.0 -

I'd been waiting and waiting for a final letter, and only just realised that they did actually send me a secure message on January 26th with their final response. I have no idea how this escaped me, as I did log in a few times since then
My complaint was upheld and I was offered a very nice sum of compensation which I have now accepted in full and final settlement.
If you are still waiting for your final response, worth checking your secure messages.0 -

Thanks for that.
I got an explanation and an offer of compo, think it was £50 which was fine by me.0
