How late was that? I complained it after the interest was added. Their reply was just a standard reply explaining what had happened. I just replied them and told them to file a formal complaint. Today got the same result like others.0 -

I got £50 because they paid me £25 twice. If I complain maybe I will get a third one. 😄😄😄😄😄0 -
I think it is unprofessional of Nationwide to compensate some customers affected by this problem and not others. I also think their lack of communication on this matter is abysmal.0

Just checked my account and they've paid me twice as well but I only complained once.
I am going to leave it there in case they decide to take it back.0 -

I complained via email on 1 Dec. No response yet tho apparently a letter is on its way to me to say that they will investigate what has happened and reply within 28 days. Like others, I finally received the interest 2-3 days ago.0

Not good that different people have received different amounts of compensation for the same problem. They just seem to make it up as they go along.
They should have paid the same amount to everyone affected, regardless of whether they complained or not.0
