    Well I have my interest but I am still not happy that this has taken so long. I had plans for the interest which I cannot now action. My complaint is still active and I will ask how they are going to put this right and provide a better service going forward.

    Opened on 1st Dec 2015 and the interest has just been added to my saver account despite asking them to credit it to my flex account as the saver account is in the process of closing.

    As per my post 276, (quoted), this is what I tried re that post and it would not allow, however I have just gone into the account and it is showing in the Issue8 and I have successfully transferred it into my NW cuirrent account which is what I tried to do yesterday re post 276.

  • Mine was due to mature on December 6th so (rightly or wrongly) I expected the switch and interest payment to occur yesterday. Nothing happened.

    It was a bit confusing though. I opened the account on the 6th (and screenshots of the process say the 6th), but the transfer and the letter welcoming me are dated the 7th. Then there's the point about it being the 'anniversary' of the account opening date vs after a year.
    So I'm not sure whether it should be 6/12/15->5/12/16, 6/12/15->6/12/16, 7/12/15->6/12/16 or 7/12/15->7/12/16.

    Logged in this morning and the account has been switched and the interest is there, dated the 6th. I'll run with that :)

    I have my interest, was still in the Flexclusive saver issue 8 account, the account hasn't been closed and transferred as requested. So I've moved it over to the loyalty saver account myself, and it only gets 0.95% there but better than 0.5%.

    Last thoughts are customer support staff, don't have the same level of training as branch staff and those with enough training are in short supply is the reason behind the long delays from customer services. Otherwise how can branch staff complete the task in a matter of minutes. Never really questioned branch closures, but this level of service makes you wonder.

    Yes. It is a mistake which show some degree of incompetency from NW that should not happen.

    You could take advantage if it by by asking for compensation. Few people here has got it.

    Got a letter a few weeks ago that the Flexclusive Regular Saver will mature on 7th December into a Flexclusive Saver Issue 8. This didn't happen, and no interest paid too.
