No interest yet. Why are some customers receiving their interest and others are not?0

I called them yesterday to check when it would be paid. The person on the phone was insistent it would be paid on 31st December despite me reading the T&Cs to him. He tried to tell me I'd 'benefit' from an extra 30 days interest by keeping my money in there. I asked him to clarify the amount of interest and of course, he said 0.5%. I was careful not to laugh out loud!
I emptied the account and closed it by sending them a message online, asking them to move the interest to my current account. I also opened a new Regular Saver.
When I logged in this afternoon (around 5.30pm), the interest had been paid into my chosen current account. The closed saver is still showing but I imagine it will disappear in the next couple of days.
I have also not received interest although account matured and changed to Issue8 on 2nd December, but when I phoned them yesterday I got the "technical problem" but was told that if you closed the account then the interest would be added at the same time as closure, so maybe we should actually close the accounts.

They've sorted it.
My account matured 2 Dec and it showed up this morning (3rd) redesignated as from 2 Dec and with interest added (also 2 Dec).0 -

Not mine!
I transferred the £6000 yesterday, and have just tried closing the account via their site, but on the last "continue button" I got a "we are experiencing problems" message, so don't know the state of play, but still no interest showing despite logging off then back in again.

If you go to branch (with ID) they'll close the issue 8 and add the interest at the same time.
Personally I can't be bothered and will wait for their systems to recover.0 -
I experienced a number of technical problems on their site yesterday.0

My Flex RS turned into Saver account, changed the interest due date from 1st Dec to 31st Dec. No interest as yet. Transferred whole amount without closing account to Loyalty saver for the slightly better rate.
Allowed to open new flexclusive regular saver transferring first £500 from Loyalty saver. New account didn't show up online, guess need to wait some days to appear.
Still no interest on the one that matured on the 1st Dec.0 -

So if they pay it on Monday, are you really going to demand 8p? Or be honest and say the best you could get elsewhere was 3% and settle for 4p?
No need to 'demand' anything. They've already credited £20 to me for the inconvenience and so they could close the complaint.
Am still missing the interest though....
PS didn't you get your pants in a twist previously when someone missed the 'AER' off rates on a post?0 -
No interest for me yet.0

Where to put the proceeds of this account? We are maxed out in most of the usual banks & building society current accounts paying a reasnoble rate of interest.
Currently holdings, Santander , Bank Of Scotland , TSB , Nationwide, Tesco , Lloyds, M&S,
& the Coop. Im confused what to do with any additional funds. Its getting harder to obtain a decent
rate of interest even with utilising multiple current accounts.
What is the rate on the matured Flexclusive Regular Saver now Flexclusive Saver Issue 8, Im also in the position having not received any interest as yet.0
