Hey LP - my lunch today is a big handful of wholewheat pasta, 1/2 tin of chopped tomatoes, garlic powder (might leave that out next time :p), onion powder, spinach ripped up into it. :)

Have you checked black circles.com for your tyres - it's a comparison site where you can either compare prices for getting them fitted or just delivery if you want to change them yourself.

    xx
  • Morning all!
Glad to see you've all had a good week!
This is my last long day out of three then I'm free for a few days!
    Today's money saving plans:
    * Having lunch and tea at work so packed enough food for both
    * go shopping with my extensive list after work ( will be a quick aldi shop as I'm on a 13hr day today and I doubt I will be bothered to do the full shop
    * not much time for much else but I will make a plan for my two days off

    Have a good day!
  • Mooorning :) happy hump day! Yesterday as suspected was a extremely lazy day, today I need to get out of the house! I fell asleep last night at 9 :)

    Today
Do the cleaning I didn't do yesterday...

    Read martin's email

Walk into the next town (which is probably 4 miles) as need to get a suede cleaning block to get stain out of some boots I got in a cs) will take buggy and scooter for madam. Take some bread to feed ducks. Will also treat us to a hot choc when there as have about 10€ and there is a little cafe that accepts them

All meals from stores - thai curry with lo chicken

Make a couple of hm pot noodles for oh & I for work Thurs and Fri

Oh needs to speak to his ma about what the plans are for this weekend (it's dil's 70th birthday party so family coming from all over and we have oh's cousin and girlfriend staying for 4 days so need to work out what's already planned and make plans around that!)

So oh & I are debating food to get in. I think for breakfasts toast & porridge is sufficient for Fri and Monday (what we already have) a cooked breakfast on Sunday and pancakes/french toast for sat. Meals I suspect there are plans for get together but a spa bol on fri and a roast on Sunday, sat there is catering at the party so just need something for Thurs. ... I think low key is the best way to go....

Some crafts with madam this afternoon....

    Check banking

Okay think that's all I will get done x

Morning everyone :) Feeling a tad "big" and fed up today, 2.5 weeks until my due date, hoping baby comes on time or makes an early appearance but no signs of that so far! My list for today is:

    - Check bank accounts
    - All meals from home
    - Tidy and hoover the bedroom (This has been on my list for ages!)
    - File away paperwork
    - Go to Mr T for a storage basket and to print some photos for babys memory book
    - Finish sorting out presents from my baby shower at the weekend
    - Swagbucks/Nectar Canvass/My Survey
    - Find a few bits to list on Ebay

Quite a list today! I'm hoping to get it all done and not get to tired! Have a fab Wednesday everyone! x

    Afternoon all,

    Today's list
    * Finished off the ys bread for kids breakfast :)
    * Gym class done to make the most of my membership :)
    * Breakfast use up, omelette with some lo mushrooms & 1/2 an onion and the end of the spinach
    * Making a Jamie Oliver chicken curry, this is to use up some chicken thighs found in the freezer whilst doing the inventory yesterday. This will do me & dh at least 2 days meals :) (usually do it on the hob but trying the slow cooker today - fingers crossed ;) )
    * Didn't have the honey required for the above recipe, this would usually have meant I popped to the shops but used a bit of sugar and water instead :) Avoiding the shops as much as possible this month!
    * Washed towels on the 30 degree quick wash and they're now out on the line.
    * One Rm survey done
    * Made a 2nd curry, milder for the kids (and possibly me if I've made the other too hot!) added a couple of carrots on the turn and a soft pepper also used up the last of mayonnaise & peanut butter in the sauce ( I know it doesn't sound great but it tastes lovely!) :)

    Still to do
    * Check luckyohone :)
    * Shower but let hair dry naturally
    * Check banking waiting on a transfer in :)
    * Make tomorrows lunches :)
    * Dishwasher on quick wash with only half a tablet :)
    * One rm to do this afternoon :)
    * Check online library see if the books ordered for the kids are in yet :)
    * Cooking apples out of the freezer that a friend gave us :) will use these with some yogurt for dessert tonight :)

    That's enough of a start.

    Have a good day all.

Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
  • My first one of these!

Is it usually by week or day? I think I'll do week this time :)

    done:
    - sorted clothes to sell on eBay (so much I don't wear and with tags too!)
    - taken all the bits out of fridge/freezer for enchiladas tonight and pasta bolognese tomorrow night

    to do:
    - list stuff on eBay
    - go on 'gym holiday', which will be free thanks to neck injury (both good and bad)
    - empty out our change fox (our money box is fox shaped) and use it to get the bread and milk we need instead of using bank account!

Hope I've done it right :)
