Thanks for the Street Life idea Bob I've signed up just see what's going on - not much in my area but downloaded the app anyway. Really pleased that I spent nothing at the bonfire/fireworks last night.
    - signed up for the Virgin Red app as you can get a free lipstick from the Body Shop. Also, some virgin holiday/experience discounts and comps on it.
    - going to list a few items on eBay, mainly books that I'll need to weigh and measure.
    - I can see one market research worth £5 so will go to a town I can do it that also has a Body Shop (for the free lipstick)
    - ipoll, FPL
    - check to see how my eBay posts are doing and bump Facebook posts
    - womble Costa receipts in the town too.
    - have a scout in some of the cheap shops and charity shops for Christmas presents
    - Take a few things to the charity shop
    - Greggs app has a free breakfast valid till 2/12/16 - I won't use it today but thought others might be interested. You have to use it before 11am. Its a good app you get a freebie every month usually.
    - Work out how to eat a persimmon fruit that I bought in the Aldi Super 6 offers yesterday!
That's all for me, have a good Sunday everyone, LP x

Afternoon all, a late check in from me and I didn't post yesterday! Well yesterday was a hectic day, I hadn't been feeling baby moving very much so off to the maternity unit I trot and was hooked up on the monitor for an hour, luckily baby is all fine, just shifted into a funny position! Then hubby and I went out for the afternoon, only spent £10 on lunch for us both so that was good! Yesterday evening we went out for dinner for OH nieces birthday and we were treated by FIL to dinner, so no spends there! Today I've only been food shopping, came in over budget but hopefully we shouldn't need much next week. So my list for today:

    - Check bank accounts
    - Swagbucks/Nectar Canvass/My Survey
    - Hoover bedroom
    - Watch my boxset
    - File paperwork away (although this may wait until tomorrow!)

    Have a relaxing Sunday everyone :) x

    Afternoon all :)
    Today I have / will:
Went to a freezing boot sale this morning  They have normally finished by now, but this one is run for charity and they decided on a final one as they are nearing a significant figure in their fund raising. Didn't spend much, but was happy to pay our £2 entrance fee towards their total :)
Meals from home, made a bolognese and mushroom soup
Also made a couple of lemon drizzle cakes as I found 2 lurking and inauspicious looking lemons :)
Made pot roast pheasant for dinner, one portion left for another time, and bones in SC for stock. Bolognese will do for tomorrow, and probably another day as well!
Seem to have been washing up all day!
    Listed more bits on ebay
Ironing to do :(Not done this, maybe tomorrow :o
Ebay parcel to pack Actually 3 parcels, all packed now, labels to do in the morning when I can shut the dog out for a few minutes (he barks frantically at the printer if I leave him in, and is scared of the dark, so it can't be done in the evenings :rotfl:)
Trying not to have the heating on until it is time to light the wood stove  It is alight now, thank goodness!

    Afternoon all,
We had a lovely family day out yesterday, the tickets for the place we went to were expensive but it came out of our xmas pressies fund as it formed part of the kids xmas pressies.
Long drive there and we took snacks with us
Not so mse was lunch & tea out but again it was budgeted spends.
Kids wanted some stuff from the gift shop, they did get what they wanted and the money came from their pocket money so didn't cost me anything.

Todays a relax day at home as we are all shattered after yesterday's long day.
    Todays small things
    * Filled screen wash in the car using a freebie from 02 pr!oriy that we got last winter :)
    * Checked oil and coolant levels also :)
    * Family over for sunday lunch, used veggies from the fridge so only needed the meat for today. :)
    * sis picked up cos freebies for me :)
    * watching a film from our stash with the kids this afternoon, with blankets and popcorn :)
    * Tea tonight will be leftover chicken curry
    * Get food out of the freezer for tomorrow and delete from my freezer list :)
    * update kids pocket money after yesterday's spends
    * Book gym classes for the coming week :)
    * Make tomorrows packed lunches :)
    * Check luckyphone :)
    * Claim payout from shop!t :)
    * Wearing my bargain cashmere jumper that I bought last yr for £10 & fleece blanket around my legs :)

  • Hi all

Thanks for the welcome backs! I have to just stop trying to do everything myself. Not easy though.

So today, took DS1 to footie, sat and watched from the car as it was so cold and rainy. Took a flask but did spend £5 on some YS sandwiches as we turned a bit peckish. Used up some bits out of the freezer for tea.

Spent a couple of hours Christmas shopping online this morning. Most of it is now done, I find it better to do it online as it's easier to see how much you are spending.

Going to be busy this week, need to be organised.

I agree Yorkshirelass, I have done most of mine online too this year and it definitely meant I spent less!

Luckypenny you are welcome. Maybe it will pick up soon. I'd love to find C0stalot reciepts but never do.

1Luckylady £10 cashmere jumper you say? Your user name is right!

KatyAnn I'm glad you went. I was only reading the other day how there is a campaign at the moment to raise womens awareness of the need to monitor fetal movement.

    My own list

    1. Worked most of the day. Bagged my 4th NSD this week.
    2. Found 6p on the way home
    3. Brought food home from the event today. Worked out around £8 worth. Useful things like a box of eggs, cooked bacon, ciabattas.
    4. Made my first batch of mince pies this year. Using some YS mincemeat I bought for 10p back in January. I bought 2 jars so plenty left. They are dated till 2017 so don't really see why they were YS.
    5. Made a skinny lasagne using up the rest of the mince from last night's spag book. Skinny because it only really did one layer. And one tiny layer. We had it with wedges and salad and it fed everyone so bonus.
    6. Cycled to and from work so no travel spends.
    7. Line dried washing
    8. Washed out the veg drawer and made sure what needs using up first
    9. DD and DH tackled the terrible jelly and fruit I made to use up the fruit. I think I added too much fruit for the jelly to set properly. So very watery. Debating how to rescue it.
    10. Netflix and tea. I realised as I typed this that my knitted ugg boots are 7 in Feb :) They are still almost pristine, and very toastie. I bought them with some Amazon vouchers. Never worn them outside. Probably still sell them for a good wodge.

La E well done for keeping that credit card at bay. :)

Yes, monitoring movements at the moment is a big thing, somebody I know sadly lost their little girl at 34 weeks and only found out by going into be monitored for reduced movements.

Its a great campaign, on the other hand its all you think about day to day!
