What small DFW things will you do this week? W/C 31/10

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :money:

Morning all :) Thanks for starting us off this week Ziggy! I slept much better last night which I am so thankful for, I really needed that! 3 weeks today until my due date, it feels like it's a lifetime away! I had my baby shower yesterday which was thrown for me by a few friends, I had a great time and ate a lot of cake and got some lovely gifts for my little spoilt man! So my list for today is:

    - Check bank accounts - Done, refund received from StepChange and moved to my ISA
    - Tidy and hoover the bedroom
    - Do a load of washing, possibly 2 as I've been so out of action over the weekend!
    - All meals from home
    - Put last things into hospital bag
    - Pop to a shop as hubby wants to carve a pumpkin!

    I think that's about it, have a good Monday everyone! :) x

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Oops hope I am on the right version?

Looking forward to Halloween tonight. DS is very excited. We have a pumpkin ready (we were given) a couple of low cost bags of 'candy' (shall I self destruct now for bringing Americanisms to our door ;) and both the kids have costumes for very little. Hoping to get some great pictures of them for the calendar we are making for an Xmas gift for the rellies. I have a £5 credit with photo box so that takes a good bit off too.

Made a use it up orange jelly and added 6 rejected tangerines. All good for our pudding tonight.

Better dash have to get organised for school run.

Thank you :) It was so lovely, just to see all my friends and family together in one room! The last time that happened was at our wedding! :)
