    Morning all

Phew its Friday and my non working day! Didn't post yesterday as I was so blooming busy at work, so I understand CCL and Ally and all you busy people on here.

Katy Ann well done on your DVD hunt, I was so bored on my maternity leave waiting for the big day. Even if you do a little each day, that's great, your best to rest because you'll be run off your feet when the little one arrives! Enjoy this time.

So I have a massive list today, it might even roll over to tomorrow:
    - wash dry clean only dress in bath
    - even though its my non-working day I need to log in and submit a work report!
    - Post 4 eBay parcels, recycling old packaging
    - Research tyres on black circle and may be 2 others on cash back site and my local garage
    - Get DD's bike out of garage ready to sell tomorrow
    - Drop off a jumper at parcel plus place as I ordered 2 by mistake! for refund
    - Email a consultancy fee invoice to work health fund for refund
    - Find out how much I have left on SpaFinder vouchers
    - Research the cost of a taxi versus a hotel stay for works Christmas do. Might be able to wangle a hotel stay from work if I speak to one of the PA's or might ask a couple of people to share a taxi ride home.
    - Research the cost of a boxing day meal with my sis - its a tradition - been to Toby Carvery in the last 2/3 years but fancy a change this year - prices allowing!
    - Wash car - still haven't done it yet.
    - Market research in town
    - Food shopping - looking at Aldi Super 6 etc. and making a list.
    - Meditate - if I'm more relaxed I will spend less
    - Bump facebook sale posts and upload three new listings
    - Enter comps that I come across on Facebook
    - I'll eat my hat if I don't get 7,000 bounts points tody!
    - FPL and ipoll
Phew! Think that's it I might run out of steam and end up carrying over tomorrow!
Have a good MS day everyone, LP x

I've managed to get through this week without spending almost any money! :)

Bit tight this month, so I really have to have a couple more weeks like this. That's the result of choosing to pay of my debt as early as possible.

Tomorrow I'm staying in all day. A bit of housework, then I need to get some practising in as I'm playing in a quintet on Sunday. Think I'll also spend some time catching up on some music listening as my OH will be at work all day.

    Homemade curry for lunch today!

    Mid day update:

Walked in to town, resisted urge to go to Subway with my co-worker. Came back and heated my curry for free instead. Just ordered some heating oil - thought I better get some in before it starts to get chilly! :)

Afternoon all, a late check in from me as I'm feeling a bit deflated today! Just got to that point where I'm to big and tired to do much but just want him here so I've really done nothing but have a shower and watch TV today! So my list for today:

    - Check bank accounts
    - Swagbucks/My Survey/Nectar Canvass
    - All meals from home
    - Paint nails

I cant really be bothered to do anything else! Have a great Friday everyone x

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Bless you KatyAnn it will all be so worth it very soon.

Ally some banks allow you to register for text services so your DW need not incur a fee if she did go OD.

La E ha ha they don't call me Sherlock for nothing ;)

After a shaky start (some scary news recieved first thing) I have picked myself up and got on with it.

    List today.

    1. Spend day but kept it low by meal planning and using a list. For £13 I have just covered the rest of the week and earned myself 2 more NSDs to hit my target of 4 this week. As per Military level of the NOvember NST challenge.
    2. Washing out although it has since started raining.
    3. Posted a cheque
    4. Two cheques I posted a month ago and had raised as lost cleared today so emailed the bank to complain.
    5. Have arranged to swap some baby clothing back to someone who had loaned them
    6. Mr S points earned.
    7. Took DD to Pets @Home and TRU for a walk round as weathers not great. Spent an hour between the two so she got a good walk and excitement for free.
    8. Have started organising DS birthday. I have posted on Street life looking for the item he wants to see if anyone local wants to get rid, before we buy one.
    9. Snacks for school run packed
    10. Will time school run to best make use of hopper prices.

    Hello all :)
Bob, hope everything is ok :(
Katy Ann, just make the most of it and have a good rest :)

    Today I have / will:
    HM meals
Sorted my clothes out, put away the summer things and took a big bagful of rejects to the charity bin in the SM car park
Put 2 clothing items that I felt were worth the bother on ebay
    Hoovered upstairs and cleaned bathroom
    Tidied dining room (go me!)
    Post office
More ebay listing (business items this time)
    Paperwork for biz
Shopping at Lidls and Sainsburys (for the bits Lidls didn't have). It is a pain doing this, but really does save money!
OH made the most of a spend day by buying 2 loads of firewood, should have enough to last till after Christmas now, hopefully. We've been burning someone's old balcony that they wanted rid of up to now :rotfl:
He also went to the timber yard and bought the wood etc that he needs to replace 2 rotten walls of our big raised bed - have to grow lots next year to pay for that
So all in all, small things have been rather swamped by big expenses today
    RM surveys tasks
    Check for online surveys
Washing on airer as it has been raining all day :(

Better get on and make my fish pie!

Evening all, Its a late post from me as I decided that I wouldn't allow myself to post until I'd got the xmas pressies wrapped and then it was time to get the kids from school.

    Today's small things
    * Checked banking & updated spreadsheets
    * Checked lukcyphone
    * All meals from stores including hm curry for the third night in a row! ;)
    * Wrapped pressies except 2, one that is going in a xmas card and the other I need to look through first and buy some ingredients so that my niece can make something straight away out of the cookbook
    * Kids having easy peasy pizza - toasted muffin with tomato puree, grated cheese and a slice of pepperoni on top, served with ys cucumber, ys lettuce and lots of other salad bits from the fridge
    * Went to the gym to make the most of the membership
    * Filled water bottle at the gym
    * Touched up nails whilst waiting for the kids at school

    Right that's about it,

We have a day trip planned with the kids tomorrow so I need to prep for that, 3.5hrs to get to our destination so need to make sure that their tablets are charged, we have books and paper/pencils ready. Also need to decide with dh what we are doing food wise, it maybe that we need to pop to the supermarket in the morning before we pick up my niece and head off, Will see what he wants to do. Hoping that as we drive home in the dark tomorrow night that we will see lots of fireworks!

If I don't get back on to post tomorrow, I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Thanks Dawn not the best way to start the day. But as they say "everyone's fed and nobodies dead" I will take that.

    Hi everyone

DNMS - I'm definitely going to try HM pot noodles - will have one for lunch this afternoon and then I'll be a pro by Monday morning :T

At home this weekend - nice feeling to know I can get things sorted.

Going to get the place organised - I was actually thinking I might go through my wardrobe and start KonMari from the start once again... I kinda lost track when moving house and never got through komono...

So far I've had a posh 30p coffee at home (stops me spending circa £10 a week in coffee shops!) and filled up the posh soap dispenser with cheapo bubble bath. :)

Right, best get off - need OH to log into his banking and sort YNAB before he leaves in half an hour...

Happy weekend folks! I'm at home for most of the day alone so I'll probs be bugging you lot for most of the afternoon. :p
