    Thanks for the thread Valli.

I am in again, although my efforts so far today have been an empty and fill of the DW. I made the fatal mistake of sitting down and have been trapped by a purring George. I was going to strip our bed but it has a cat in it too. And wash my jumpers but there is one there too. And one in the ironing pile. It's clearly a furry conspiracy.

They're telling you to rest. Go and join one of them...

    Afternoon folks

Thank you for the lists Valli and thank you Natty for last week.

Had a read through but not remembered much except hope your sister recovering Valli, congrats to Mrs MP and exciting times for Dizzy. Sending hugs to everyone.

Sorry I've not been about but am having terrible techie probs. We have ordered a new broadband up-date but it will not be going live until 9th Nov.

I'll be flying today and Tuesday am. I have hair appointment in the afternoon, then sending off passport renewal and a bit of shopping. I will be having a cook-up when I get home - and then resultant clear up.

Wednesday I have to be at the horse-pital by 12.00 to book in for my eye op, so want to leave all clean and tidy before I set off. Really don't know then for the rest of the week - will have to 'see' how it goes eh.

Have finished sorting out all the tops of the wardrobes and put away in boxes.
The printer has been packed up ready to go and the table folded and tetra-packed back in its' box.
All cardboard flattened and flung to recycle - same with papers.
Over the weekend I cleared out and cleaned all the shelves in the kitchen and tops of cupboards.
The cooker and hob have been 'astonish-ed'

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining
Clean the floor, sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub
    Extras
Check diary - have you all the cards you need?

Plenty of sticks and spoons if you need some

I have a candle lit for all those who have recently passed; hoping to let Bailey-dog know he's still always welcome here.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Level 2
[STRIKE]Clean the floor, sweep,[/STRIKE] mop, vacuum and scrub - Still haven't mopped, but have now swept the hall, conservatory and downstairs loo too so the downstairs is tidy even if it's not sparkling
Dust where necessary - need to wipe around the downstairs skirting boards

    Level 3

Windows and sills clean and clear - Windows are covered in Halloween decorations, but will tackle the sills later

    Extras

Check diary - are you up to date with appointments and have you all the cards you need?
Check your Toots list - anything you can make a start on?
Share the love -message or phone someone you love and tell them so - Plan to ring Nana once the incessant trick or treaters have stopped

Just waiting for a shop to be delivered so I can get dinner on, kiddies are due back around 6.15 so will take them to the nearest few houses for a little trick or treat (it would seem that it's a huge deal around here!) then baths and bed for them. My plan for the rest of this evening is folding clothes in front of House of Cards, oh the excitement!

Hope everyone else has a fun evening planned, is anyone partying?

We're back from a trip on the Halloween train, was very amusing, and kiddies visited a few trimmed up houses for trick or treat in our street.

We've had a few visitors here too so the bucket is almost empty. Kids have loads

Kitchen looking sweet (haha) after a simple dinner, I just need to empty the DW and make DS butties for tomorrow.

Have not told kiddies in case things don't go according to plan but should be collecting our piggies tomorrow  so may be not flying till much later.

    Night all.

This afternoon I have lopped three branches off the giant pyracantha and filled NDN's green bin as well as our own :D
I have also swept up all the leaves and planted out my bargain £1 Michaelmas daisies. If it pours with rain for the rest of the winter, the back garden will still look good - except there are lots more leaves still to fall and be raked up.
The front will need a bit of tidying up too, but all the borders there are reachable from paths so it can be done in damp weather.

I am also another phonecall nearer doing the Gift Aid claim and have had a long chat with a friend :)

No trick or treaters round here, thank goodness.

Bossy, thank you for reminding me about Christmas lists. I will post the Flylady Secret Santa instructions in a mo.

Still need to finish off my reading prep and send a couple more emails. Then I might have time to watch Victorian Slum and give thanks for living in a comfortable home with mod cons.

:xmassmileIf you want to join in the Flylady Secret Santa, please PM me your details - your Flylady ID, your real name (if you want to disclose it) and your own postal address, or one where your parcel can be accepted - or if you prefer you can email me at ionafan(at)gmail(dot)com putting 'Flylady Secret Santa' in the subject line.

Your details will be passed on to your very own Flylady Santa, who will send your gift direct to you, and of course you will receive somebody else's details so that you can send them a gift. the average spend is probably about £5, but some people choose to spend more and others less: it's entirely up to you.

DON'T POST PERSONAL DETAILS IN THE THREAD!

I shall sort out the list on 20th November.

I'm not sure how much flying will get done this week apart from basics, too much work to do (yes I know I'm like a stuck record, but Oct-Dec is my busiest time at uni so I just get my head down and think of the ££).

Today work-wise I finished and emailed 1 report and have just the summary and recommendations to do of another, so that will be gone tonight.

Went to Ald1 with Mr N and MIL (see I know how to have a good time).
Mr N has done loads in the garden; I've occasionally been out to give my opinion.
    Emptied DW.
Posted/labelled a load of letters to go off.
Did 10 mins on the rebounder.

Me/us time was to go to the garden centre for lunch and plant buying (in a sale of course).

Other miscellaneous events this week include 2 assessments, 2 student tutorials, flower club, taking mil to eye clinic, zumba and ballroom then down to my mum's at the weekend visiting my brother on the way. Phew!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
