Thanks for the new list Valli.
3 days off. My new rota is working Thursday, Friday snd Sunday every week. I'm managing to get the house straight before Thursday but the kids and DH trash it while I work and groundhog week starts again.
DH is home today, he has a hospital appointment this afternoon. His days of WFH are over now. He's had a promotion and doesn't travel so much. He's cleaning the kitchen at the moment so I've got stuck into the ironing.
Today I need to finish off the shoebox for S@maritans Purse.
Wishing everyone a successful week!0 -
Welcome back AmyLooFoo!
It's going to be a slow start here today but today's excellent listy is just the ticket. Thanks Valli, and thanks Natty for last week's. I'm definitely in again.Better is good enough.0 -
I'll be reading and supporting, if not actually flying for most of this week.
THE BUILDERS HAVE ARRIVED :j:j:j
So far, there's Joe, Sam, Jordan, Mark and Chris...tea-making duties have commenced, as has the mess and noise.
OMG - it's finally started!0 -
Thank you for the new thread, Valli.

I have wiped the kitchen worktops and culled the pile of stuff on the table which never gets put away
DH has hoovered the floor.
I have already dealt with several phonecalls, emails and financial transactions this morning, and am now about to have my shower and get started on my college prep for tomorrow. I want to do at least an hour in the garden this afternoon, as it's the last green bin collection of the year tomorrow - the hazel tree has turned yellow overnight. No Old Wives' Group this evening, so I shall have time for more reading for my essay then, if I can manage to stay awake.
NDNs are having windows replaced so there is a lot of banging going on - at least, there was, but I think they've just downed tools for a :coffee: too

Hi there,
Thanks for the new lists, Kitchen is perfect for me today, lots to do!!
Bright and sunny here today, x1 load on the line.
Have soaked the oven to do a little later, but have a shiny hob and sink.
All worktops cleared.
DW x1
A bit of ironing to finish next.
See you soon x0 -
Great news dizzy xx
Homework done and filed. Kitchen cleaned, including the floor. Windowsill has large tubs of water at the mo as we've been warned there might be disruption to the supply. Seems fine so far.
Just mopped floor so I'm going to use the time to scribble some ideas down for Xmas. Kiddies have written lists so will take ideas from there. DS is by no means getting everything on his list! He's a cheeky one!
Also found time to sort my nails out...Bossymoo

Thanks for the thread Valli.
I am in again, although my efforts so far today have been an empty and fill of the DW. I made the fatal mistake of sitting down and have been trapped by a purring George. I was going to strip our bed but it has a cat in it too. And wash my jumpers but there is one there too. And one in the ironing pile. Thanks for the new list Valli. I'm in this week - I've been trying to fly with limited success for the past couple of weeks. Back to basics (again!).
Will report back later!
Have a good day

Valli you are one brave flylady - good luck!
And whoop whoop Dizzy. Hope it all goes smoothly.
So, 20 minutes on spinning bike before work (I hate that thing) - turkey casserole in sc, bathroom swished. Paid stuff no. 1, dog walked, now on with paid stuff no. 2.
Anyone on here got ideas for a pressie for my 8 year old god-daughter, about £10/£15?? Havent seen much of her lately, have texted her mum for ideas but she hasnt replied and I really want to buy her something to open for her birthday.
Right - more paid stuff to do.0
