afternoon all,
sorry it's been a tad quiet my end this week!
so pleased to report a 2.5lb loss this week! about flipping time too. didn't appreciate the 'seeeeeee you can do itwell done! xx' text from my consultant at midday today but I'm just ignoring it...maybe I'm reading the wrong tone/reading too much in to it but either way...
yesterday was hubbys birthday - we spent it going round local garden centres checking out Christmas stuff then just relaxing at homewe went out for a meal so I went to the 5.30 group instead of my usual 7.30. I had pork steaks (zero fat - very impressed) which came with boiled new potatoes, broccoli, runner beans and mangetout with 2 butter packs on the side and 3 slices of black pudding and a cider and apple sauce (barely a drizzle) also had a pudding and a couple of small glasses of wine. wasn't counting syns and I'm ok with that because it was a very special occasion - lad was told he may never see 30 and he was 31 yesterday
today I had a rough start to the day which included waking up to find I'd split my lip in the night...blood all over so sorted that then littlie was a terror then I had to drop a huge parcel off with a courier then work...just not enough time considering I got zero prep done last night due to going out so sorted rough food for the others and no time for mine....I had a sausage sandwich on brown roll and a small orange juice for breakfast. I went for lunch with a new colleague (thai chicken curry - rice, chicken, coriander, red pepper, onion and spices) and we've had 3 mini cake bites each no idea what I'll pull out for tea at home!
going to try and do some rough prep over the weekend to have grab and go things ready for through the week.
we've planned to move littlie from the box from to the big front spare room 1st full week in December as me and oh are both off then. this means me and him have agreed to set the box room up as a proper studio to share and littlie will get a couple of choice toys in her room (nothing too loud or flashing lights haha. role play stuff is the plan) so we can close the top stair gate and she can play in there whilst we craft a couple of metres away. that means furniture flat pack buying and building and hoiking other furniture aroundso plenty of body magic that week!
sorry for the babble. back on it properly from tomorrow!************************************

:T well done on your loss lush. Delighted for you.:)
Sounds like you celebrated your DH's birthday in some style and you've carried on today.:D I take it you'll be off to Ikea soon.
There does seem to be an undertone from your consultant that you were either doing something wrong or cheating before. But we know different!
They had 5% mince YS in Sainsbury's today so I bought 4 packs and a pack of beef cubes as we've taken a liking to the SW beef stew with butterbeans. I'm going to make up some savoury mince as I've run out and freeze the rest. I also stocked up on wine.:D0 -

Whoops, sorry! :rotfl:
Maman the curry was lovely but my only complaint is too much liquid!
Well done on your loss Tete, great work. And congrats on your NSV Ruby, it’s lovely to go down a size.
Lantana I hope you get some relief from your tooth soon – toothache is a nightmare!
Congrats on your Miss Slinky nomination Shala, I know what you mean about photos as I feel the same way.
Ooh nice score Topgirl!
Well done Lush, I love the sound of your craft room. What do you make?
Does anyone feel that their face is the last place to show weightloss? I am getting really frustrated with it. I'm 2 stone down and have dropped a dress size (and a half) but I feel like my face still looks the same! My Dad commented today that he could see my weightloss in my face so perhaps it's just because I have to look at it every day! :eek:0 -
Havent read back but happy new car Shala :j

Congratulations on the losses people!
BettyBoof yes, I still think my face looks GIANT (objectively it doesn't) but I suppose it's because I see it every day, so no big changes over time.
I also think that lots of SW recipes come up really watery - they seem to put loads of liquid in and then there's no thickening agents used (because that tablespoon of flour in a 4 person recipe would be SO MANY syns :rotfl:)
I am thrilled to announce a 2 lb loss this week, which means I've Hit Target!!! with a 4 stone (and half a lb) loss this time round at SW (since June 2015) and a whopping 7 stone 2 lbs (aka 100 lbs  ) since my highest ever weight in summer 2008.
Trying very hard not to eat ALL THE CHOCOLATE but failing tonight. And honestly, I don't care!We may not have it all together, but together we have it all
