Thanks for the info. denise. I've just been refreshing the inventory for my freezer and taken the pork chops (thinnish ones)out. I think for tomorrow I'm going to experiment with doing them in Hairy Biker fashion and then maybe try your sweet and sour recipe with the cubes.
Thanks betty. I've just been reading a SW lamb jalfrezi recipe in an old magazine and they have a tin of tomatoes and a can of water. Why do they put so much liquid??
Good to hear you're back on track lois and great to hear you sounding so positive. That angel must have travelled back with you:).
I decided on a snack to go with my soup at lunchtime. I had a couple of slices of ham, some cottage cheese and tried that red onion relish that Shala recommended.
It's quite nice and a bit sweeter than pickled cabbage. I only paid a pound on offer and it's a small jar but nice for a change. Might be worth buying some in with the Christmas pickles.0 -
Ooohh i love all of those deli toppers maman, they make a nice change from the typical pickles.
Had a huge NSV last night - ordered a new winter coat for our trip to Prague, in a size 12. Picked it up last night and immediately thought I'd have to return it for at least a 14, but it turns out it fits! It's even, dare I say it, a little big even with a fleece underneath! I don't think I look any smaller but I have noticed that some of my work clothes are a little loose.
Have a mad day at work ahead of me so hoping I can keep up momentum and stick to plan
B - Porridge (HEB), sharon fruit, golden syrup (2 syns)
L - LO Cheesy Pasta (pasta, mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, HEA), 2 pears
D - Steak, roast parsnips, mushrooms, mixed veg, peppercorn sauce (1/2 syn)
S - clementines, 6 mikado (3 syns)

Great NSV Ruby, I can't wait for my clothes to start getting looser (or, ahem, fitting again)!
Reporting a 2lb loss this week, I'm very pleased with that considering I've been surviving on MugShots and SW frozen meals as the kitchen is in uproar mid-decorating.
Man is coming today to do the last of the tidying up and I'm actually really excited to do a bit of proper cooking again. It's going to be soups and casseroles all the way - brrrrr!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Me too, hardly a stitch that fits! Urgh awake half the night with pain in my wisdom tooth! I seem to go from one tooth problem to another this blinking year.
Nearly asleep at my desk.
There will be wine syns tonight.
Other than that think it should be an on plan day.0 -

Glad you likes the red slaw maman, I've got through 3 jars already :rotfl: I've used the leftover vinegar to pickle some homemade coleslaw just to see how it turns out.
Well I've nothing much planned today, off work as I was supposed to be waiting for my new car to be delivered but it came at 8am! :j:j Now the most important thing I have to do today is break in some new boots and decide what we're having for tea :rotfl:

:Tthat's excellent tete. Well done for losing 2lbs without a proper kitchen.
I thought I'd try making my own slaw with the LO vinegar too shala. Let us know how you get on.
The pork chops are in the oven now, then I'll just need to thicken the gravy on the hob later. Today I have to do my meal plan and shop and except for tomorrow's pub lunch I'll be on plan for a good few days. My clothes tell me STS but I think I should try and get to a WI soon.

Are the deli toppers free Maman ? Red onion sounds lovely.
I've had some good news, I applied to be a Philips product tester and they've sent me a body fat monitor and blood pressure machine, so I'm looking forward to setting them up on Monday (weekend wine tonight and tomorrow might skew my results somewhat!)
B - Bacon and mushroom sandwich
D - Jacket potato with cheese and beans and two apples
T - SW kebab, chips and salad
HEXA and B as above, syns on vino0 -

syns on vino
Yes, they're free. Shala put me on to them.
Looks like they're £1 in Asda rather than the usual £1.50. Good with a burger or cold meat.
Enjoy your wine syns;).
Less Speed than expected in the LO beef stew for my lunch so I fried up courgette, spring onion and mushrooms and added it all together then poured over a JP. Yum!!:)0
