Thanks for the recipe denise, I usually make the diet fanta version but it never thickens up enough for me and is a little too tomato-y also.

Ended up going home at 11 yesterday as my head was killing me and I kept getting double vision. After a few hours sitting in the dark, I was fine but brain still feels a bit foggy this morning.

    B - Porridge (HEB), blueberries
L - Lentil and vegetable soup, pear
D - Cheesy pasta (HEA) with broccoli, green beans and mushrooms
S - Sharon fruit, ff yogurt, clementines, 10 Mikado (5 syns)

Made my porridge with water this morning and forgot how refreshing it is. No more buying my coconut and almond milk I think so MSE all round! Hope everyone has a good day!

Mash sounds lovely Maman, lol at the butterbeans! ;)

Seems quiet on here this week.

Went to the gym last night like a good girl and then went home and gave myself a facial. Felt lovely and relaxed in bed last night for the first time in ages. Lets hope that continues.

Really fancy eggs on toast today - haven't had them in ages so that's my lunch sorted!

Hope you had a nice time with your mum Beanie and everyone else is well.
  • :T Well done to our SOTW x2 and Congratulations rjhammond91 on reaching target!:T

I'm so cold at the moment it's hard not to comfort eat (plus the news from America is pretty depressing!) but so far this week I have stuck to plan. Need to up my efforts a bit today and tomorrow to post a loss on Sat though I think as the home scales are currently showing a STS. Will aim for some more SP foods today and fewer syns.

    Breakfast: Toast (HEB) and banana
    Lunch: Carrot & coriander soup
Dinner: SW Chicken Jalfrezi with extra veg
    Snacks: Satsuma, plums
Syns: Butter on my toast (4 syns) 2 cups of tea (HEA) with one sugar each (2 syns) Maybe a hi-fi bar tonight (3 syns).

I've been having a bit of raw swede as a snack the last couple of days which my DH thinks is weird but I love it! :D

  • Typed a whole big reply yesterday but it disappeared...humph!

To sum up...maman - the veggie and lentil chilli turned out really nice - I'd recommend.

RJ - congrats on getting to target :)

And Lois...I always gain when I travel so don't let it worry you too much.

Also salutations to everyone else lol

A sneaky peek on the scales look like a gain - looks like all the carousing of the last few weeks may have caught up on me.... 2 days to weigh in...hopefully will claw it back.

It's so cold here today...not looking forward to the gym - it's always freezing in there!! Must do it anyway :)

B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: probably lentil and veg soup
    D: beef stew with cabbage

    Afternoon all

Shopping is done so the fridge, freezer and food cupboard are stocked up and I have a bowl full of speed fruit (plus some bananas). Yesterday was strictly on plan and I did have a sneaky peak this morning in hope, but no movement yet. Today is going well too, and I've had some body magic as I cleaned the outside windows.

Well done rjhammond for getting to target :T, save room on that members sofa for me. Well done to everyone that's lost weight.

    Have a good day.

Maman - if you're going braise the pork in the sauce I think I'd leave the cornflour out until the end and then thicken if necessary. Cooking for a reasonable length of time may well thicken it up enough.

Not very happy with WI this morning only lost 0.5lb - don't know what to do to lose a bit more! Still only 1lb to get back to target range.

    Today's plan:

    B - fruit after WI
L - HM leek & potato soup; 1 slice of crustless bread
D - chicken traybake with loads of roasted veg; cabbage; splash of gravy 0.5 syn

May have a Snack a Jack caramel with some fruit & quark after - 2.5 syns
    S - toast; Laughing Cow 1

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - Laughing Cow 1; Snack a Jack 2.5; dark chocolate 4 = 7.5 syns

I haven't maman, will let you know how it goes. Going to inflict it on DH too so I'll have two reviews for you ;)

Sorry to hear you've had a disappointing weigh-in Denise - maybe try an SAS log to see if there is something you are missing? You're so close to being back in target, I'm sure you'll get it next week.

Wizkid a for an against list might help you get back on track. Our consultant gave a couple out on Saturday to members who just couldn't find their SW mojo.

Keep up the good work Lois!

Greentiger I admire your determination in going to the gym, I just want to hibernate at the moment.

Off to a lovely Christmas fair tomorrow with lots of local food so I'll have to have a will of steel to resist!

Betty, you've mixed me up with someone else - there would be some sort of cataclysmic event if I went near a gym, lol. And I'd be pushing up daisies probably!
