That's a lot of exercise EH. Just one of those things would wipe me out.
Hope the jab works for you. Mine saved me when DD caught it - I didn't.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well I have woken this morning feeling pretty much normal but still with the sore arm (not as sore as after jab 2 though) and just a faint headache - I’ve taken paracetamol and will make sure I stay well hydrated today as per the advice given. Didn’t sleep the best but whether that was booster related or the usual perimenopausal stuff I have no idea.SH I ended the day on a bit over 15,000 steps yesterday which isn’t *that* unusual for me!
Plans for today are a lazy start, breakfast (toast), a walk to get MrEH’s paper/some fresh air etc, then we have a beer festival virtual meeting at 11am. MrEH has a rugby match this afternoon so he will be giving apologies to the meeting at around 12.30 and disappearing, and I expect the meeting to be finished by around 1.30. I have no other plans for the day at all, which is rather nice. Aiming to do my yoga this afternoon - this will be a full week of doing it daily if I do - go me!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ooh, that's an excellent achievement, go you indeed!
I don't think I had any symptoms after my booster either, and I also didn't catch covid when Mr Cheery had it (he had no symptoms either though, and had also had his booster). I remember falling asleep in the garden after my first jab though, I was SO tired!4 -
Well done on the fitness stuff. I look forward to when I can sustain greater activity levels...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Build up gently SH - it’s astonishing how fast you can build strength for example just by things like yoga. I’m definitely feeling the effects of my nearly-a-week of that!
Our meeting earlier ran on FAR later than expected as we had to break away from usual stuff in the middle for a presentation/feedback session on something else CAMRA is doing at the moment. It was interesting though, and I think we came up with some great stuff to feed back between us, so all good. By the time we finally wrapped things up though it was 3.30pm 😩 and I was VERY ready for lunch. Hoovered up scrambled eggs and toast plus the final two fish fingers from the freezer, then topped up with grapes and some matchmakers because HUNGRY! 😂
I’m still to do my yoga (so not quite go me yet Cheery!) but that’s the next thing I think - I’ve had a couple of hours on the sofa with a blanket, tea and some rubbish TV. MrEH has returned from rugby (they lost) with my car and has now gone out again back to the club for a 🍺
Oh - sorry @boxofpaws - forgot your earlier question I just realised - the photos from the trip away and the foggy scene earlier in the week were all just with my iPhone, then processed using Snapseed to bring out a bit more detail. The iPhone just blows me away with what it can do - mine is a 12 mini so not even the top of the range, but SO impressive! For landscapes and scenery it’s hard to beat to be honest.Going to finish the show I’m watching, then spend a bit of “getting things done” time I think
- Yoga
- unpack the new water filter
- 5 minutes whizzing round tidying random items
- shopping list for tomorrow
- stuff to recycling
Then settle back down again. (And MrEH May now be contributing to some of that as he has just come home, seems nobody wanted to stay long at the club!)🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Not surprised you were starving after the meeting. I’m pleased you didn’t get too many side effects and got chance to chill and watch a bit of rubbish tv before doing house stuff.👍January spends - £587.584

Good that you've had your booster. Perhaps the Moderna booster I got six weeks ago is the reason that I've got Covid with no symptoms at the moment, othewise I could be feeling really ill 🤔 .
I had a strong immune response to my Moderna booster also about 6 weeks ago.
Will be interesting to see how I get on now the other half has Covid and I'm almost certain to get it.girlatplay said:Good you cleared the card and had your booster. I had the booster just before Christmas and it was the Moderna (I got AZ for my first two). I didn't feel ill at all from the booster which is good news, however, I had the sorest arm that I have ever had in my 40 odd years of vaccinations. I couldn't sleep with the covers on it, it was so painful. Lasted about 3-4 days then nothing. All good again. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Morning all - booster related arm soreness is definitely easing which is good - I must be one of the only folk to have got off so lightly with side effects from a Moderna booster after Pfizer initial course! I'm not complaining mind!
I've been very "TSE" this morning - Time Saving Expert rather than MSE! Commute is taking a little less time than it sometimes does right now (folk still WFH I suspect) so I parked up at 0830 - whizzed to the office on the bike, short straight over to T's and got some small items of personal shopping I needed and was back in the office by 0900. Suited me far better than needing to do it at lunchtime (when I'd ideally prefer to take the bike back to the car) or after work (when I'd rather be heading straight home) so all good there. Items bought were mostly necessities but with some special offer price Graze snack pouches too - I'll use those to stretch out the intervals between my next few delivered boxes, though so that will actually save me money over a few months.
Banking is checked - all good. The bulk of the mid-month DD's have left the joint account now too, so I'll probably think about sorting out a PB purchase at some stage now, as I have a rough idea what the surplus will be this month. Should just be MrEH's CC payment for his 0% card, plus £7 to EDF to leave the account now, as well as any more diesel and any Oyster top ups that are needed - I *might* need to top mine up next week when we go into London to do MrEH's Christmas Present mail-rail tunnel walk but hopefully not. If I do though it will only be £10.
Meal plan all done for the week although there will likely be some changes - I bought chicken thigh and drumstick portions yesterday which were all roasted together yesterday., while the oven was on I also threw in a punnet of mushrooms chopped up chunkily and a sliced leek and cooked the roast potatoes and parsnips for tea last night at the same time. (I love having an oven I can get three roasting tins/trays in at the same time!) Tonight's plan was originally chicken (the half of the pack that weren't part of last night's roast dinner) with mash (from the freezer) and veg - but as our celery substitution in the veg box was some form of chinese leaf, and we also have lots of kale to use, I'm inclined to switch things about and make it a stir fry tonight instead. Tomorrow will be a standard-for-a-tuesday couscous salad type thing involving some roast veg from the freezer plus some of those mushrooms, the remaining leek slices and probably a tin of chick peas. Oh and halloumi - squeak....yum!
Shopping was done in T's in the end as the point of using Sainbugs was to get one of the fuel vouchers - but MrEH needed to fill my car up on Saturday. we also went to the farm shop to get the marmalade oranges so that will be a job for this week. £14.86 at T's, £8.18 Farm Shop (that also included a mahoosive bag of local Cox apples, and a couple of yogurts for MrEH). I'm happy with that for a week's shopping!
Plans for this week then - Marmalade - we have two batches to make, and may then subsequently make more if the Seville oranges are still available when we have time again. I want to keep up with my yoga today > Thursday - it'll drop off over the weekend and I can then pick it up again next week. MrEH has rugby training tomorrow - he won't actually BE training as he did something to his arm/shoulder in the match on Saturday, but he'll go along to assist. He's also got to drop his car at the garage tomorrow morning so they can do the diagnostics for the repair. We have the funeral on Saturday, then have a pals 50th birthday weekend which should be excellent fun. I've then got next Monday off which I suspect may be much needed.
Prolific still sits at the same level as last week - I have one study that will be auto-approved soon I believe.
