Everything seems under control your end
Need to do a bit of finance shuffling this end now the other half will be on sick pay for a week or so.
Shouldn't be a problem though.4 -

Just my phone for the photos - I had my big camera kit with me but it didn't leave the bag once the entire time for various reasons. Phone is an iPhone 12 mini and it amazes me almost daily on how shockingly good the camera is, though. 😁🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm wavering about just saying S0DD1T and clearing my 0% card. The 0% has a while to run yet - it was always going to be cleared early, BUT I suddenly realised my personal current account was a little richer than it technically should be right now because I had forgotten to clear last month's surplus out of it. Coincidentally the surplus is just enough to clear the card...
Pro:
- It will be gone, and I can stop thinking about it
- It means that future survey money can go to my "gym neutral" fund
- it means that from next month the £40 regular monthly payment will be able to be reallocated (to where? Probably into savings ready for my next new phone but that will be several years off yet).
Con:
- the money could be earning a paltry amount of interest if I stuck it somewhere else, while the card is 0%
- I might lose impetus on the surveys etc if there is less "urgency" in the picture?
The first of the cons is actually negated I've twigged by the fact that right now of course the money is sitting in the current account earning NO interest at all, so that may be a non-argument.
Thoughts? Everything says to me I ought to just do it, but I know my impetuous self of old and I want to make sure that's not leading me to miss something obvious against it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

If you're not 100% sure why not send 50% to the card and tuck the other 50% away. You could always change your mind and use it to clear the card once you're more certain. Personally I would be very tempted to clear the card but can understand your hesitation.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I would clear the card.
But that's just me and my repayment plans rarely make any sense to anyone else4 -
