As long as you have an EF clear that card. Your latest photo is amazing. Your others have been too but I really love the last one. I could see that framed on a wallAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I’ve cleared the card! 😁😁😁🎉🎊🪅 Thanks for the encouragement/incitement/complicity - I only asked because I knew you’d all say “Do it!” of course! 🤣 LOVING that zero balance now!Ironically as well as that I’ve been a bit spendy elsewhere too - a new pair of black jeans in M@t@l@n this morning, and a couple of lovely soft tee shirts for sleeping in - all planned spend and the money wil come straight from my clothing budget. We’ve ordered a (needed) new water filter jug - £28.00 on the online giant river shop but comes with 6 cartridges too and the cheapest deal just for those at the moment would be £20 so I’m calling that an official bargain. Finally I “innocently” had a browse on the Cl1n1que site last night just to see if there were any interesting offers on. Found them selling a skincare bundle for £45 which includes full size versions of my moisturiser (usually at least £30 for that size) and my favourite mascara (usually £21 - I know, ouch!) as well as full size Dramatically Different BB gel and the lip treatment that matches my usual moisturiser (ai wouldn’t have been bothered about either of those but was already quids in on the first two things so…also minis of the cleansing balm I wanted to try, and a different cleanser/exfoliator which sounds interesting, plus a eye cream. Free gift offer needed extra spend but I’d already decided to add something on for Mum - she’s having a bit of a rough time at the moment with Dad being so poorly and organising Auntie’s funeral etc - so also earned myself a freebie that ended up being another pot of my moisturiser the same size as the first, plus another three minis - including the mini of the mascara (the one in my travel bag is probably teeming with nasties, it’s so old) and one of the overnight mask that matches the moisturiser which again I was interested to try… By my reckoning my £64.50 has bought me £100 of moisturiser, cleanser (for mum) and mascara plus minis of at least three items I wanted to try, and another that gets used regularly. So hurrah for that! I hesitated for ages but couldn’t get past the fact that the maths - even with the bit added on for Mum - really did add up!In other news - I had my booster this morning, Moderna this time, but all went fine. I did decide against adding the gym into my morning afterwards though - firstly because I had other errands to do in town and second because not being sure of the likelihood of side effects I decided it might be better to take a slightly more gentle day. Having said that, I had already done a nearly 4 mile walk this morning, added another nearly couple of miles round town, and cycled to and from the jab and town centre, and I am about to do yoga, so not really an idle day! Once that yoga is done though the rest of my day is going to feature lots of cups of tea (the doc that jabbed me said “stay well hydrated so I’m following instructions) the sofa and something good to watch on Prime!I need to nudge MrEH into helping me with a freezer audit when he finishes work tonight. Think I’ll try to make tomorrows meals from what we have in (must pop a loaf going in the breadmaker) then we’re planning a Sainsbugs shop on Sunday - he’s got a £5 voucher from a covid study thing, and we have over £10 in n3ctar points that I’ll use too…
Right - time to sort out the washing to the airer, then yoga before my arm gets too sore!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well done on clearing the card, that's what I would have done.
Good that you've had your booster. Perhaps the Moderna booster I got six weeks ago is the reason that I've got Covid with no symptoms at the moment, othewise I could be feeling really ill 🤔 .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I had a strong immune response to my Moderna booster also about 6 weeks ago.
Will be interesting to see how I get on now the other half has Covid and I'm almost certain to get it.3 -

Glad you came to the right decision. I used to be a devil for the Clinique deals, used to love a free gift with purchase 😆 Sounds like you got a good deal there. I had the Pfizer booster and felt rough the next day but fine from then onwards.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Good you cleared the card and had your booster. I had the booster just before Christmas and it was the Moderna (I got AZ for my first two). I didn't feel ill at all from the booster which is good news, however, I had the sorest arm that I have ever had in my 40 odd years of vaccinations. I couldn't sleep with the covers on it, it was so painful. Lasted about 3-4 days then nothing. All good again.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
