  • Hi turtles,

It has been an emotionally draining day here today but in more positive news it's been spend free. Desperate for fuel so tomorrow will be a planned spend day.

    Hello,

My apologies for not being present much lately. Due to this cold all I manage is work, kids, dinner, essential chores and bed. But I have been reading and you're all doing fab. Loads of NSDs, vouchers coming in exercise etc going on.

Feeling a bit better today and might go to the gym for and easy cycle. Luckily I made some lunches for me and OH on the weekend so didn't have to worry about them. NSD number 7 today. Dinner for tonight is already cooked as I wasn't hungry last night and OH wasn't in. So I just kept it for today.

Today and tonight I might organise my craft list for christmas. Got so many ideas I need to prioritise etc and just do one at the time.

Another NSD yesterday and another day I went to the gym. Misstara, it seems you and I are on the same page!

Today should the same once again. Brought my lunch with me and got stuff in for dinner too. Sorted.

    Hi all.

I had a nightmare with the school run this morning courtesy of the snow, the snow itself isn't particularly bad but as usual the traffic was horrific and the buses - well least said about them.

I will be spending today on groceries but other than that not much planned. I was going to cycle but not in the snow, I will walk the dog for exercise and may run if the paths clear a bit.

  • Morning all,
No snow here - but very wet and windy. Had Dd assembly at school this morning focused on remembrance - can't help wondering what we are destined for next :(

Small spends on food yesterday and petrol had to fit it in between end of school and Ds's swimming lesson - Dd has swim club tonight so that will be my last outing to a shop this week - need to make sure we have everything in to keep us going until next Tuesday, the joys of living in the sticks! The online shopping for the C word will need to commence shortly - I feel another list coming on!!

Keep warm, keep calm and carry on!!
    Love LAGL xx

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning All

NSD 6 in motion. We haven't ventured out yet today as the weather is to unappealing. So have just been chilling and playing with DD. She's been zonko since 11, so catching up here with a budget review. I have 15 days to go till next big pay (OH) and things are not too bad. Doing well on our shopping budget averaging £7 per day to feed us all/plus all toiletries. To keep to my monthly budget I could go up to £12 per day at the moment but that should go up the more I make our groceries last this week.

I am aiming for Friday for my next spends. The only fly in the ointment is butter. There is only a scrape left. I'm going to make something different for lunch so I don't need butter. Then that bit will do toast tommorow instead. But Friday breakfast is looking a bit too optimistic. I am fine eating porridge but no one else will....

Friday I will get stuff for my sons party, but Saturday we will be at home getting ready so should hit the max this week.

    Hope everyone is keeping warm

    Bob

Hi folks back from my mini break just assessing the damage.

Did quite well as took french sticks, ham and butter with tomatoes from buffet breakfast so that was late lunch sorted as well. Little spend on meals out. Had nice walks by river, in the park and did roman museum, lots of swimming.

Started on bit of xmas shopping but nothing major. Found toy gs wanted.

Back in work today, glad of the heat as my heating gave up the when I arrived home. Hopefully BG coming out this afternoon?

Welsh Kitty how sad and so young. Hugs all round.

Mothernerd what a disaster, hope everything is getting resolved now.

Spent today will restart tomorrow - needed sawdust and petrol. Was naughty and bought some aloe vera cream struggling with my skin at the moment.

Hope everyone is doing alright, catch up reading next few days.

Swooped my gas/electric to Sainsbobs today - collective switch with MSE runs out beg Dec. Hopefully 30 pounds back at some point.

Take care with snow and all surface water about folks.x
