This is linked in the NEWBIES FAQs thread but at some point I will try to incorporate it there by reorganising the info from that sticky thread and changing the subject of apost.

Search this board for 'thin air' (honestly, just those two words) and you will find example defences from 2016 with wording objecting to attempts at double recovery by inflating a claim.

Anyone help with this suggestion? If I search for "thin air", this is the only post that is referenced. Thanks.

Edit - Never mind, I was only searching this thread...

Quick question if this is still active. If there is a court date in the future regarding my situation, what would the arrangements be if I wanted to defend the keeper on their behalf in court? Coupon-mad has been active in my thread, I was not the driver but I was in the car when both tickets were issued. The keeper does not have great English and I have basically been doing all of the research and drafting letters on their behalf (obviously with their consent and signatures when needed). So could there be arrangements where I would act as the defendant, with the keeper present?

Google 'Lay Representative' and 'McKenzie Friend' to understand what your rights to assist might be.
