Hi, could Someone HELP.
We live in a Housing !!!., and pay some ground rent to have our own parking Bay. But we have 2 cars so I parked behind my Husbands car, causing NO blockage to anyone. We have 1 parking bay and 1 visitors permit in each of our cars.....although there is no Parking Bays for visitors and thus we all park where we do not cause an obstruction.
We have followed the forums advise as to ignoring the Parking Ticket and letters but now we have received a County Court Claims form from County Court Business Centre in Northampton ( UK CAR PARKING MANAGEMENT LIMITED wanting the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) What can we do, I have no idea whether this is in our Tenancy Agreement, although I wouldn't of thought so as they did not put signs up for at least 4/5 years later...1st with clamping then changed to Parking fines. Help Please.:eek:

read that NEWBIES sticky thread , post #1 , COuRT CLAIM (small claim)
read that BARGEPOLE thread you posted in too
also read PARKING PRANKSTERS court guide, and read his recent blogs about residential parking cases as well
like

and

and also

and this thread too

it is also VERY IMPORTANT that you find copies of the lease or tenancy agreements and see what they say about parking , plus for the judge to see in the impending court case too
first job is to acknowledge the claim online , dont put anything at all in that defence box , NOTHING , this gives you an extra 14 days , so 28 days in total to draft your defence
if unsure , read what BARGEPOLE said until you are sure
and thank you for starting your own thread like I asked you to do1
