Hi, Hope somebody can answer my question.
I have submitted a defence, WS on behalf of my daughters parking fine (12 mins over a 2 hour free parking). Following advice and guidance on numerous forums on this excellent site, I am quite confident that a good defence etc has been submitted. However, when I contacted the court to enquire about me acting as Lay Rep at the hearing, I have received an email stating that I will need to complete a form N235 , which doesn't seem at all relevant to our circumstances.
Can I just turn up and represent her, or do I need to inform the court that I will be her Lay Rep, or could the DJ disallow my representation?
Case is in April, and the Claimant (CEL) has until 11th March to file for hearing.
Any advice most welcome. TIA0 -
1) This is not a thread on which to be asking questions
2) Start a new thread (discussion) of your own
3) Just turn up at the court and tell the usher you will be acting as lay rep
4) Your daughter (as defendant) MUST attend court with you
5) Read all about rights of audience as some ushers don't understand that you don't need them1
