Why don't you drive over and have a chat with him before you submit the court papers?

I don't think you'd find it funny if he paid you a visit with the muck spreader.

    what you dont believe me?

i tried to upload a photo of it but dont know how to on here

btw its a HiQ garage service sheet with 3 tread measurements across each tyre and says "estimated mileage before inspection" which is possibly when its down to 2mm but im not sure on that. That would make it 2500 miles per mm

yep, their full service is pretty good including things like cabin filter change and all the usual stuff for £149

in comparison i got charged £120 for an oil and oil filter service at a "dealership garage"

£149 for an oil change, ticking a fancy check sheet and a list of work your car don't need.

Ask yourself this question, why would any decent mechanic work on a tyre centre?

Well if you don't know what burden of proof is required for what court, what makes you think you have any advice to offer?

2300 miles for a tyre seems quite good, the first owner of my previous car had new brakes and tyres every 6 months. First new set at around the above mileage.

Not one tyre but a full set, allegedly an armed response vehicle. Extra holes and strengthening to the floor fitted the pattern. I bought an SD1 that had seen duty as an armed response vehicle also.

so the oil filter doesnt need changing?

    fuel filter?
    air filter?
    cabin filter?
    timing belt check?
    auxiliary belt check?
    brake discs and pads?
    brake fluid?
    coolant?

    non of that needed then?

also got a wheel alignment for free which sorted the steering out a treat.

Tick, tick, tick, tick new oil cheapest going £149.

They've ticked the sheet, but have they really done the work?
