I'm nearly done I think on the 'crafty' bits apart from the owl (haven't done that yet but know where I'm going with it) and little robins with the tiny flowerpots with birdseed in for Robins Christmas Breakfast - got 8 to do..............any ideas for some sort of verse to go with it ?

I would love to make this for my friends birthday but where on earth would I get the items from needed to put in the box.

    Many thanks

Ive just made a friendship box and changed the poem for inside (basically took out the part about the contents) and stuck it on the inside of the lid. then i put silver heart confetti, a 'wallet sized' printed out photo of me and them that fitted in the bottom nicely, curled ribbon bits and wrote a short letter which i then rolled up into a 'scroll' and tied with the same ribbon. That way if they dont open the box it doesnt matter...and one day if they do open it it will be a nice memory

Just got sent this in a chain e-mail from my sister, apparently Audrey Hepburn wrote it and years later it was read at her funeral. My sister absolutely loves Audrey Hepburn and I am covering a notebook for her, I'm going to add this poem on the inside cover, just thought I'd share:

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

Can anyone come up with a little poem for the decorated pegs?
(the ones with ribbon and magnets on for putting on the fridge)

Just to sort of explain what they do are for.

    Thankyou
My brain is much so can't think of anything :rotfl:
