Not sure if this version has been posted before .....

When the weather outside is frightful,
    Snowman Soup can be delightful.
As it warms your fingers and toes.
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D

Found 3 more gingerbread man poems today that might be useful for someone

    e5laav.gif

Gingerbread man is the perfect man,
He is no trouble at all.
He is very sweet and never talks back,
And he always comes when you call.

If he gives you any trouble, any trouble at all,
    Here's what you do ya'll.
Give him one warning, just one warning I said,
If he doesn't listen, bite off his head.

A little sugar, a lot of spice.
A woman shaped him, oh so nice.
He's made of dough with a golden tan,
the closest thing to the perfect man!

http://www.craftbits.com/project/across-the-miles-tea-poem I think this is a lovely idea and could be adapted for all sorts of occasions. I'm trying to change it to coffee, would be grateful for any help!

I did this last year (my son drinks tea and I drink coffee)

Although you live so far away
    It's easier to be
    Closer to each other
    Me with coffee....you with tea
So lets both put the kettle on
    And find a comfy chair
You think of me.....I'll think of you
    Unspoken words we'll share
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Thanks for that mary-op.
The craftbits site in the above link doesn't seem to be working now, pity, it was a good one.

Can anyone think of a rhyme to do with owls ? My friend loves them and I'm going to dry and re-vamp a gravy tub with some felt to look like an owl, fill it with choccy and call it 'owl poo' Need a rhyme that works around that ................my brains not working...........

I've made this little friend for you
He sleeps by day but wakes at night
Don't let his cute face fool you
He gives some small animals a fright
He goes out on the hunt taking prey in one foul swoop
One last surprise if you look inside, it's full of....owl poop!

Just a first go, maybe change the rhymes around a little?
