I love the gingerbread man idea! Done anther version for a gingerbread woman (great for giving to guys)
The perfect woman is hard to find
I haven't heard of one before
So heres the very nearest thing
and shes delivered to your door
She won't moan at you to tidy the house
Or when you watch footy on TV
And she won't go mad when you've left the lid up
when you were having a wee
Shes small and gentle and sweet
and wont mess with your head
and if she gives you any trouble
Just eat her up instead!!
:rotfl:You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
Can anyone think of a good poem/verse and the contents of a smallish box that i could send to my auntie?
Shes recently been diagnosed with cancer and by christmas will be well into her chemo so i'd like something that shows im thinking of her.
Nothing too serious or religeous.
so sorry to hear about your auntie Rasmus. maybe you could adapt a guardian angel kind of idea, but with something a bit christmassy, like, make a guardian snowman or something? and then put a poem in, something like.....
A man made of white, is watching you tonight,
He's a little chilly, but he's keeping you in sight,
For he knows you are down, but not quite out,
And he knows you need cheering up and so hes here to shout
A Merry Christmas to you, and heres to a better New Year
Just keep smiling through, and know I am near
For whenever you need me, you just need to ask,
and I'll come running with some brandy in a flask!
dont know if its what you're looking forYou're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
I Love this idea, thankyou for sharing itSallys_Savings wrote: »Just remembered a poem that was great for grandparents/god parents etc for your little ones to make.
You use black card and white paint and paint as the poem describes
and have lots of fun too
This little angel is special you see
Because she's a small part of ME
Her wings are my hands.
her body my feet.
A splodge for her head which really looks neat.
Her halo shimmering with glitter and gold.
I hope you'll agree she'll never be sold.0 -

The Perfect Man
The pertfect man is hard to find
I know because I've looked
So I give to you the very nearest thing
and he's tastier than he looks
He won't moan at you when you go bootsing
He wont be interested you see
For he really is the perfect man
I think you will so definately agree
For he's quiet and he's sweet
and no trouble will he be.
But just in case he his
You can dunk him in your tea.
