Motorists, what to do about cyclists who constantly break the high way code???

No, the message is if you are going to overtake on the left be extra careful of left turning vehicles, don't just ride up the inside regardless and expect the driver to be able to see and avoid you.
But anyway, both the videos you and I have posted have one thing in common - the MGIF (must get in front) mentality of an increasing number of cyclists.0 -

This is laughable.........
In a car your afforded protection from the idiot behind you texting, messing about on Facebook, trying light a cigarette, screaming at the kids, etc etc.... Cyclists and bikers are in danger if they're between two cars this way, they filter primarily for safety reasons.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Provided it is done within the rules of the road. I believe that on a motorbike it is called "making good progress" ... and failing to do so can fail your test.0 -

Going up the inside of a left turning vehicle is safer than waiting behind, now that is a laughable comment.:rotfl:Provided it is done within the rules of the road. I believe that on a motorbike it is called "making good progress" ... and failing to do so can fail your test.
Two different things, don't think anybody would fail their motorbike test for failing to filter.0 -

I think you confused "MGIF" with filtering which is legal and indeed drivers are warned to look out for bikes and cyclists doing soSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

"in front" is by far the safest place to be for a cyclist as they are far more visible there, although motorists think its queue barging.0

Ironically I used to find that, from the front of the queue on a pushbike the only thing that would get to the other side of the lights anywhere near me was a biker. And yes - that was obeying the lights !
The 0-5mph acceleration of a regular cyclist beats the average driver hands down.0 -
If done safely, which is the key issue here.
If traffic lights are red and all traffic is stopped, either side is fine, going up the inside of a lorry or bus which is moving off is stupid.
I'd rather be at the front of a queue in the advance stop bit than be sat in the middle of traffic about to move off thoughSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

Hello fellow motorists!
I was just wondering if you had any suggestions as to how us motorists can keep cyclists safe on our roads?
My ideas are:
- Always indicate well in advance so the cyclists knows your intentions.
- Give plenty of room when overtaking.
- if it's not safe to overtake, then hang back until it is.
- look out for cyclists at roundabouts
