Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I'm not impressed although I have been very impressed by TLC marketing in the past.

I applied for the facial or manicure and got a voucher for a day out.
  • i tried to claim and it said my card had already been issued with a voucher. news to me, i'm the only one in the family with a card and i just heard about this offer today. reading the thread though i won't bother calling them to sort it out. i really wanted a back rub and it sounds like everyone is getting days out.
  • Yeah me too! Fascial or manicure...Suprise suprise....A Bloody Day Out! Grrrr:mad:

what happens if you strap toast on the back of a cat and drop it?"

I tried to claim on-line and it came up with card no. already had voucher. Did ring to query and spent about 15 mins talking with a woman with an Indian accent who did not help satisfactorily, kept consulting supervisor and asking to repeat info. (Phone revenue?) Waiting, without much hope, to see if anything happens. Did want a back rub not a day out so not much hope of getting anything of use at all.
  • Scam.

They clearly prefer revenue to customer satisfaction. Missing the point that customer satisfaction = revenue.

Add another to the wanted a facial got a day out! I have no intention of using a day out voucher! Very unhappy with Nectar.........
  • A well known loyalty scheme is offering a FREE gift to its customers. You can make a choice of (FREE) gift, but in the case of it not being available, something else (FREE) is offered. If you're not happy with the FREE gift, surely you can't complain! If you don't want the alternative, don't do it! You can hardly be unhappy that a FREE thing that is costing you nothing to claim isn't the thing you wanted?
  • I chose a pamper treat for my first and second choice. Accept that they might have to make a substitute, the promotion says that a similar treat might have to be offered, so would have expected that to be one of the other pampering treats - no so. I've received a voucher for a day out which I do not want and would never get to use as I don't have a family, don't drive.
How is a day out similar to an Indian Head massage?

The email with the voucher said:
Your Nectar treat voucher is attached.
We're very sorry but we've been unable to offer you your chosen treat.
Don't worry, we thought you might like this one instead! Simply print off the attached voucher and follow the step by step instructions to book your treat.
However, if you think it's unsuitable for you, please call the Treat Team on 0845 223 2 970* and we'll do our best to find you an alternative (lines are open 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays).

    Enjoy!
    * Calls cost a maximum of 4p per minute from a BT landline. Calls from mobiles and other networks may vary, please check with your provider for costs per minute.

shame none of the treats are for two people!

I thought the same, thats why I have chosen the family portrait - so we can all get something from it.

    Thanks for the post
  • Entered my card details and got this message -
The card number entered has already been used to claim a free treat. There's only one treat for each primary cardholder so please check your card number and try again. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact Nectar on 0844 811 0 811.

 Its a brand new card and i have not attempted to use it before to book a free treat.....No wonder why i dislike Nectar/Sainsburys SO much, Back off to use my trusty Clubcard:T
