Just got an email from Nectar, saying they cant offer me the treat I applied for (I went for 1st choice Back Massage, 2nd choice Head Massage).

They offered me..... 'a day out'

I have checked out the venues, and they are pretty crap e.g. local football stadium tour..*Yawn*

I think I will be phoning them tomorrow to ask if I can change it to a pamper treat.

    Very dissapointing.

I got the same email last night but I put it down to living in Northern Ireland.
  • Stupid Website Doesnt Recongise My Postcode...duno Why!!!
  • me too,wanted a manicure- got a day out.
  • Got through to them on the phone. I just said that I'd got a day out voucher, and she knew what I was talking about straight away.

Had to give all my details again, and she just asked if any pampering treat was ok. I said mostly, so she'll try and get one sorted and e-mail a new voucher.

It looks like a day out was their default position if they couldn't offer the first 2 choices - which is pretty stupid as it was bound to irritate.
  • I asked for a pamper treat and i also got a day out. I will phone tomorrow.

It's a con:mad: They just want you to phone on the 0845 number so that they can make more money from you.

My belief in Sainsburys as an ethical company has been seriously eroded, and I'll be telling them so:eek:

Don't call them! That is the con - they are making money from the 0845 number!!! Have looked on that wonderful website - 'say no to 0870' and there is no geographical number available.

    It's a con:mad:

I am emailing them - hope to get a reply:D

I ordered mine. I asked for a back massage or reflexology.

Guess what? I got a "day out"

I've just had a baby and I feel all worn out and I really wanted some pampering

Rang up but the man said they couldn't change it. I don't want to go on a day out all by myself, so my "free" treat will end up costing for other people to go. It does sound like a con to be honest.
Here I go again on my own....

I am Glasgow too and asked for 1st choice family portrait and 2nd choice kitesurfing (which they do at Troon (nearby) on the main nectar choice section). What did I get ? Surprise surprise ...a day out.... err no thanks..... we do do 'normal' things in Glasgow - it is a major city after all...... one big.... CON .....

    Snap.

First choice was a back massage, second choice was reiki.

    Voucher - day out.

I'll be on the phone to them shortly.

I wonder if there are some geographical issues with availability of the pampering treats - I'm near Glasgow.

The day outs in Scotland are pretty poor anyway, plus you would be doing it on your own unless you pay for a companion. It's one thing going for a pamper alone, but not the same to go for a day out.
