Shez, I tend to use fine beans instead of runner but I imagine cutting them diagonally would do the trick. Not much use really, am I? :o

Baked beans for me:rotfl: open tin, microwave, eat:D

    *AHEM*

    Safety notice

What Nelski meant was "open tin, TRANSFER BEANS INTO MICROWAVEABLE BOWL, microwave, eat"

Though I'm sure she knows that, as she's still here! :rotfl:

Edit: another question - how do you slice runner beans?? diagonally, thin/thick - or does anyone have one of those bean slicers?? are they any good? I've tried slicing diagonally.

French beans I slice in bits, runner or kidney beans I slice in diagonal chunks about 1/4" thick..........

Ooh ooh I can answer this one :j

Bean slicer most definately didnt work for me - useless. If I have time I prefer to slice them thinly longways but as generally I dont have time I cut them diagonally. Love runner beans gutted they are nearly finished.
