Afternoon gang, hope everyone is warm and dry today. Well more money at the vets:mad: . Op wise Phoebe is fine thank goodness BUT......(theres ALWAYS a but isn't there!)she had a small abcess on her bum:eek: :eek: This is possibly a reaction to the medication and possibly due to lack of food and getting a bit...well I am sure that I dont need to spell it out for you :rotfl: Anyway anohter £30 today. Aw well. DH not very well today and LOADS of idgging etc as the electricity board are still trying to sort things out.

MeanMarie It was hte rugby I ewas talking about but currently we are rubbish at football as well :eek: :rotfl: Well things can only get better.
I hope everyone that has offspring at new schools/colleges etc are getting into the grove. Round here we still have the 11+ so am getting a few desperate(too late, FAR too late)calls from parents for tuition.
Anyway I have to do a couple of not nice things this afternoon that involve telephone calls. Lets just say that I hope your afternoon is far more pleasent than I think mine is going to be:eek: ((((((HUGS to all)))))). Any omissions no offence intended.Please put it down to stupiditity :rotfl:

Penny-Pincher!!

Thanks guys for the support! We knew it was going to happen, just not so quickly. Mum is an emotional wreck as her big sis basically bought her up as their mother left when she was 2. She is still alive but never bothered with them-very sad story.

Went mad last night to keep mind occupied and listed 34 books on Amazon:rolleyes: ...had sold 4 by this morning for £18 after postage, so pleased with that. If they all sell we should make about £180. Also sold £62 worth of stuff on Ebay over the weekend, so thats a bit of extra money for the USA fund.

My new helper was great again today. I didnt ask her to hoover, but she has done all upstairs for me, tidied the wardrobe and shoes (it was abit messy lol), peeled some spuds and veg for dinner, 2 kitchen cupboards cleaned out and organised, tidied/wiped fridge, inside glass on teddy cabinets and swept/washed the downstairs floors. I must say I am very impressed with her self motivation and initiative and she had the baby attached to her again. I am so grateful of the help though and gives OH 2 hours break too.

OH went and posted the books this morning and noticed in the little PO that they were selling Anchor butter packs 2 for £1.20, so he bought 4 and 4 pints of milk for 99p. Might be worth looking in some of the smaller shops for staples?

Its so gloomy here today. Although its dry, its very overcast. OH has hung the washing out and there is some breeze, so hopefully it will dry without having to use the TD.

Anyway, Im going to try and get my head down for a bit.
