just googled this, and the consensus of opinion out there is about 3 minutes in a 800w microwave is the minimum amount of time to safely reheat chicken in a microwave.
how accurate this is i dont know, there seems to be a lot of 'official' opinions out there ... :rotfl:
i reheat chicken all the time in the microwave and usually do it for aobut 2 or 3 minutes at least :beer:wading through the treacle of life!

Hi everyone, ive got unplanned guests for tea tonight so have took a rhubarb pie out of freezer.. but the only custard I have is two tins at the back of the cupboard that have a best before of 2010! Should I chuck them? or is it one of those tinned things that never goes off? Help!!!xWife to a hardworking husband and mum to a adorable son and grumpy cat0

NO! Don't throw them out. Dried goods will keep for yonks. Custard powder is only cornflour and vanilla so it should be absolutely fine although if it's been opened it might have lost a bit of the vanilla flavour0

hi everyone,
i HAVE Been using up everything in my freezer ready for restocking and have found a large pork joint, pork sausage and pork sausage meat i had bought last xmas. will these still be ok to use or have they been there for too long? i have a tall fridge freezer (not a chest one).
worried i may poison us all but desparate not to waste them either as this would sort our meals for almost a week. they were frozen raw not cooked.

No problem...it's been frozen.
In Siberia they eat mammoth that appears occasionally out of the permafrost as a delicacy :rotfl: Not sure I fancy that myself... but your pork will be fine. Enjoy!

Should be fine but once defrosted give it a good sniff and if it smells off then bin it.

It should be fine, but of course inspect it once it thaws. Pork that is about to or has gone off tends to be a bit slimy and will definitely stink a bit.0
