Well the hoovering the matress thing was nothing like I feared... I was expecting to get completely freaked out by the amount of stuff that ended up in the hoover but... couldn't really see much. Would a matress protector stop all the yuck falling through? It is the only reason I can think of...
It ended up being quite a productive evening - the football was on so OH stationed himself infront of tv with the iron (yes he is a star!) So I washed all the bedding and protector covers. Cursed myself for having quite so many cushions... I then wizzed through the playroom and I think it should be ready for action on Fridayall of a sudden it has just come together in there.
I have hidden birthday and Christmas pressies for the little people in my wardrobe - although I think we are going to need to make some room in the eves to store them.
S&S the kitchen.
Sorted out outfits for non-uniform day.
emailed contact details for J1 list.
Thankfully OH's car is back so no more running up to his work before I can pick up kids (was quite nice though - he started ordering lunch in for lo and me too!)
Ok better go and try (again) to get some sleep.0 -

Hi all,I made a huge batch of soup/casserole base yesterday from all the odds and ends of veggies that I had accumulated, threw in some pot barley and let it sit in the slow cooker for hours. It's delicious and my flatmate begged some off me for her dinner tonight. Mind you she's always on the look out for 'scraps' as she puts it. I must remember to add these to her rent money! At work today and just checking whether I CAN post from here, I hope so.Have a great day all.LCOT0
