    Hi Floss,

I've PM'd IT to see if he can sound MOT out, I will not set anything up until i have heard back. Absolutely nothing. I agree that MOT may not want to accept it and so will wait and see.

I know we will have to wait and see what MOT says but will transfers to a bank account not take too long too - often 3 or 4 WORKING days isn't it to transfer between accounts?

If MOT is willing to accept then I've got a few quid in paypal with her name on it.
    This whole ordeal is heartbreaking.

  • I know form my own experience that when people try to help you out the gut reaction from people is to not accept it.

However, I have learned that people love to give and to help as has been evident since the verdict came in. MOT - when you get a chance to read this......i really do understand how you feel regarding the support you will feel and I know you will more than likely feel overwhelmed, a bit sick to your stomach and probably a little angry.

Please dont knee jerk react to this. We all really want to offer you any kind of assistance that we can. For a lot of us, the only way we can practically stand beside you is to offer you a couple of pound. Now, it has no ties...no conditions...and no specifics for use. People just want to support you.

Whatever the practical side of getting this help to you will be, please dont worry about it.

My experience also says that one day, you will be in a better position and you will be able to bless others. My prayer for you is that tonight you feel loved and secure in that and that you can trust us, hopefully you will allow us to show our love....i have been amazed by what I have seen here today.

Listen, those of you who have read all the thread will recall not so long ago that not all those who read MSE are nice (like us). The last thing MoT needs is for some non-MSE/DFW scumbag causing more problems with anybody or any organisations like the DSS.

So PLEASE, can we stop discussing the why's and how's of this until we know if it is going to be accepted?

I'm not trying to be a killjoy, I think it's a fantastic idea, but I do not want to see any problems being made by having things discussed on an OPEN FORUM.

Paypal don;t take a fee if it is a personal account up to £4500.

I am not sure about the twins, they do ask on the forms if kids have any savings so I am sure she will still have to declare.

Sorry if I am behind on stating this, trying to tidy up for bed but I have this on my mind on what to do for the best. Even if she does not want the money then it could be saved to get something for the twins (new laptop each, etc..) because they have been through the mill too. (Just a thought, sorry).

I'm a long time lurker here too I'm absolutley gutted with the way MoT has been treated and that they didn't take into account the medical evidence
I will happily donate some money too
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you
