I Have just been on my paypal account, and it seems pretty easy to send money to another Paypal holder, check out the send money page, you simply need their e-mail address, i tried to paste it here, but it gave my personal details as well, so I thought I wouldn't paste it.

ok, so we have a method, we just need an account to do it, lets wait for MOT and find out if she has a paypal account we can send it straight to. I'd offer to collate it all but i know that the internet is a very impersonal place and think it best if it goes straigh tto MOT of she agrees. xx

I would tread very carefully with papal. Paypal will close MOTs account down in the blink of an eye and make it really hard for her to get the money out. They seem to limit accounts if there is even the slightest hint of an unusual transaction, I would think multiple payments in without ebay sales and no tracking would be plenty for them to limit her account.

Paypal is not only for E-Bay but to pay for shops and services etc. I can't see they would object after all they would be some fees to pay on the amount received, so Paypal will not be losing out.

I agree that it would be better if the money went straight to MOT (or IT)...she may well be too proud to accept it though
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Do we have a E-Bay/Paypal expert somewhere on this forum, they would be able to tell us if what we propose is acceptable within the terms and conditions of Paypal.

To be honest I can't see that it's legal to throw someone out with children 3 days after an appeal hearing. How could she find somewhere to live when she didn't know what the situation was with the council.

MoT has known since before Christmas that dependant on the appeal decision today, the eviction would be that date. The Council have given her the required amount of notice for the tenancy that she has.

    Still haven't heard any more......

Oh I agree, only they are a law unto themselves and I wouldn't wish their customer services on my worst enemy. I had my account limited and for no reason other than my husband sending me some money from his account to mine. It took 3 weeks of faxing in documents and proof of ownership of a few things I was selling on ebay. Finally they un-blocked me and I got the money out, only for them to shut me down again the very second I had an ebay sale and money in. 4 months on I still have £200 in paypal limbo.

I would inform them of the collection and what these transactions will be before a single penny hits the account from donations.
