What lovely messages to get up to this morning:A Thank you everyone for such kind posts and for all your support so far in 2007 - it has really helped me in so many ways such as: your suggestions of who to contact, for all of your emails sent to the council and councillors, for PrincessJane for starting off the publicity, to Saffronflowers for her help with finding the right solicitor to help us and to Ampersand for her 'lobbying' of all the 'powers that be', to Floss for her supportive texts and other things, to Gillianh2 for her behind the scenes support of my depression, to Rog2 for his wise words, to Christabell for keeping in contact virtually daily by email or pm, Mrs Thrifty for the things she has done even though she's a tired worn out teacher;) and LJD1 for her 'letter', to MissPoppy for coming to see me and to Gforce for her knowledge of the 'other side'! And to everyone else who has taken the trouble to post on here, to pm me, to send cards etc and who just has taken the time to read this thread.

I'm sorry if I have missed anyone in particular out - there are so many of you being so supportive for which the twins and I are eternally grateful.

Aw, now I'm getting all sentimental.............must be because its Christmas:T

  • Just to add my best wishes to you all for Xmas & the New Year as well :-) I hope you have a lovely one.

And that is good news about the appeal date being put back - just don't let the paper allow the story to "slide" away - it may be that the Council think by the end of January interest will have waned & it won't be such a high profile news story & they can get you out without a fuss... Oh how wrong.. they don't know us MSE'ers!!!!!

    Hi SD,

I promise I won't let the story 'slide away' with the HHG as I'm sure you all won't either!! I haven't told Georgia at the paper yet about the new appeal date but no doubt I will get a call from her after Christmas as the next edition is out on 2nd January so she will want an update for that. BBC 3 Counties radio will be calling for update too. Also plan to call Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 after Christmas.

  • I know I always seem to be saying 'Thanks' but what else is there to say? You are all wonderful, supportive, kind, caring and most of all, loyal and persistant friends. So, once again - mille grazie. Now about the Italian Claudio - "Keepa you 'ands off eh?" He better watch his step, nuff said! On the subject of the 'Rottenborough' article - I did the same thing some time back - Googled Daniel Zammit and found the link to Rottenborough. Was so gobsmacked by what I read I emailed it to MOT. Isn't it great news about the Review being deferred to a later date? It means MOT the twins and I can relax and have an enjoyable Christmas. On that last note: "Buon Natale e' felice anno nuovo." :rudolf: :xmassmile :snow_laug :santa2: _party_ Ciao amici.

She may only be 11 years old, but at that age, mot, they are 'going on 18' in their mind and she is just getting into the 'young lady' stage - a primary requisite of which is always to be the last one ready. :rotfl: :rotfl:
